I posted my first story this week - archiveofourown.org/works/627567... You might enjoy if you like the Regency setting, letters, clueless Colin/emotional growth, Bridgerton sibs, S1 & 2 Polin breadcrumbs picked up…basically an alternate S3. No smut, but there is eventual horniness 😬 #polinfics

I remember in 2005 when Jude Law cheated on Sienna Miller with their nanny and I was like “what’s WRONG with him, Sienna is a CATCH” and my mom was like “it has actually nothing to do with her. there is just a certain type of man for whom nothing is ever enough” I think about that like every day

The light shines on him as he wakes from his dream of their mutual confession, his mind bringing his heart truth into the light. So beautifully done.

Colin being unable to comprehend that he can be loved - not for what he can provide, or give, or the masks he so often can put on for others - but for his true self. You see all of the emotions in his eyes, realizing that for the first time who he is, is more than enough, more than worthy

Fanfiction doesn't require constructive criticism unless expressly asked for by the author, and if you're rating a fic out of 10 in the bookmark - DON'T. Fanfiction is written and posted for free, you're not a literary reviewer and AO3 isn't fucking goodreads. This is evergreen advice. Pass it on.
