The dos and don'ts of PC Engine CD care. Mostly the don'ts. The bottom left one asks that you care for them forever. I shall, PC Engine. I shall. <3

A scan from the PC Engine CD of Ys Books 1 and 2's manual on IA, with a cartoonish guide to caring for discs with a little CD with legs and eyes in various situations of abuse like jamming a pencil through it, throwing water on it, and writing on the disk surface. But also a sweet one about polishing it carefully and putting it back in the case and taking care of it.

Labour hasn't been left wing for years, they are essentially Tory Lite.

I mean I already own a 3ds but i'd be cool to have an original handheld again, but i understand it's too niche

Luca Mayhem @superlucamayhem.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

yeah I want smaller handhelds and I don't really want/care about playing big releases on them, I just want fun experiences designed to be taken on the go.

Streetpass is a cute feature, it's not too necessary and when i was little i didn't know you had to keep your system on to collect tags though.

Grading seems like a scam, and I'm sick of people trying to squeeze money out of any hobby out there.

VVVVVV (Game) Yeah it's a short fun platformer with the a great gimmick, and the soundtrack's good and I like that it's modeled after c64 games.

Rhythm Heaven Megamix (Game) Ok I've been playing and generally enjoying this series for years but I haven't actually "beaten" any of them until now. This was a good compilation of old minigames and some pretty good new ones. The decision to have a story was an interesting one but I did like Tibby.

Enby here, I've kept my birth name cause I like it and it's gender neutral so it works for any situation imo, I might slightly adjust the spelling but idk.

quickly made up some posters you can print! i choose to believe that most HP fans are ignorant about jo rowling's hatred and if educated, would choose better. i don't think this education can be stretched further online. it's up to us to share our knowledge irl. left is letter, right is A4

handwritten/handwriting font black and white poster that says
"HARRY POTTER FUNDS TRANSPHOBIA. If you support the new HP show, you are directly harming trans people and helping destroy ALL of our human rights. J.K. Rowling hates trans people and funds efforts to criminalize our existence." with a QR code to an advocate article about it. 8.5x11", free to print and distribute

Is Harry Potter really popular to warrant that kind of budget?

I think that once you play other RPGs you see how truly shallow the singleplayer Pokémon experience can be. I played platinum last year, and it was such a mediocre game imo, not bad, but I felt like Sinnoh was so boring, Black 2 was really good though.

Yeah, generally I find vanilla Minecraft boring, modded on the other hand is great.
