Linus Tech Tip you can hide the fuckugly parts of PHP by writing pleasant wrapper functions that don't suck

my binary reader class which reads a number of bytes from a stream and then unpacks them as binary data. for some reason every language with an 'unpack' function decides that the best solution for this is arcane codes composed of mysterious character sequences so all of the methods read a number of bytes and then unpack that number of bytes using hardcoded sequences (so L for unsigned 32-bit integers and e for double-precision floats and so on.) doing this leads to code that is actually tolerably readable

boring icons for vpkedit and vtfedit (one is a pencil writing on a folder in blue, the other is a pencil writing on a missing texture in pink). they're pretty crisp!!
