I swear this was not meant to look … like… what it… looks like. #zombieskulltober day 8!

A pencil drawing of a headless zombie, holding his missing head in his hands as if to do a basket ball lay up. Kinda ended up looking like he’s getting consensual with his own head.

Sorry #zombieskulltober participants, I’m ass dragging on correspondence atm. :( also, day 6! Executive dysfunction demands I switch to ballpoint.

A slightly cartoonish, ball point pen doodle of a zombie head. Happy. Sparse strands of hair.

I’m still enjoying my social media detox, but I do still plan on doing #zombieskulltober come october. ＼＼\\٩( 'ω' )و //／／ #darkart bsky.app/profile/did:...

Got an itch to paint a dragon. Good chance I’ll tank before it’s done 🤣

Anyone else notice every instance of autocorrect is so wildly wrong? I misspelled ‘initiate’ and the suggest word was ‘ Ubuntu_order’ … they are sooo wildly terrible. Case in point, had to two weirdos writing this post:

Suggesting the word ‘structure’ during mid writing of the word autocorrect . Have only typed autoc

Taking the word misspelling, having written misppe and the suggestion is nudity

Typed neurosensory and the suggested word is metro-paramour

Nope. It was inspired by misc’ Nirasawa creatures and Jin-Roh. Making a version with a chaingun was a design request, the original fella had a tentacle on one arm. And Lordy did they bust the tangents on that render, he should look like this:

A demonic soldier standing in front of techy door, one arm deformed with a tentacle nub

A demonic soldier snaking his tentacle arm out in a sci fi hospital setting

This one is a little weird. I was making an imp-like thing(below), just for fun, intending to make a 3D print. I believe this was before DOOM4 was a thing. I guess someone found it in a folder somewhere and kitbashed it into the Doom2016 fella. Really obvious of you look at the toes.

Sorta! I’m making a marionette, but I am using left over clay to build up an armature for an eventual kit

Messy work space. Center frame is a bipedal sculpture armature. Twisted wires with some volume build up with a grey clay

Having a go with Magic-Sculpt. I’ve always liked 2 part epoxies (milliput mostly) but the drying times with Magic-S’ are trying my patience. #sculpture #darkart

One of the pro-column-checkmarks with executive function disorders, is that stuff like this is always a surprise. A big tome of horny inspiration on my porch this morning! 😋 @godivaghoul.bsky.social

Thank you! It’s unbaked super sculpey. Here’s the little guy baked

Messing with sculpey and am definitely hitting a ‘need tutorials’ point. It’s been a constant cycle of destroying one side while working on the other 😆 I have _no_ idea how Takeya details fingers, I’m afraid to touch them. #sculpey #sculpture #darkart

I kept noodling at it, I think just for the lessons it might give. Really enjoying sculpting again

I will generally build up my image in grey, and then start adding color with Gradients and overlays. A quick example so you can see what I’m doing with the gradients. There is really no reason you have to respect the original values. Hope this helps! 😃

A screenshot out of the procreate viewport. The right side of the head is in grey, and the left side is demonstrating how gradients can alter an image in ways that aren’t monotone. The bottom of the image is a pop up menu that allows you to create custom gradients.

#dreadcember bonus! Switched to plasticine, a childhood fav’ . Very definitely pushing my luck, as this is smaller than my old eyes can handle 😆 #darkart #sculptor #sculpture

Last day of #dreadcember ! I had a blast making truly dreadful art, and happy to have marathoned through it with some amazing friends! #darkart #timelapse in the replies!
