We’re making progress on homelessness solutions. Homelessness in Alameda County decreased by 13%. The share of people experiencing unsheltered homelessness also declined as more unhoused residents access shelter. More here: health.alamedacountyca.gov/data-and-reports/point-in-time-count/

#HealthcareForAll. Thx to all who spoke about the impacts of layoffs at Alameda Health System. Today, our Board took action to: defer the layoffs, work with AHS on other options + report back on March 17, and form an ad hoc committee with AHS & labor to ID options for this and next fiscal years.
