Capitalism is the root of most modern evil. Jesus is good; American Christian Fascism is bad. Questions about hormone therapy for menopause or 🏳️‍⚧️ Hmu. If you think I wrote something right wing or centrist, just ask me; you've undoubtedly missed the sarcasm.

I'm encouraging people to vote early/absentee asap so as to maximize chance of being counted. But if Israel is planning on "war to cancel elections", then it's inconceivable that Trump won't push it hard as well 😭

Acting like the majority means that they don't get singled out negatively, that they avoid problems with law enforcement, and that they can interact with normal people. Sure, prominent sociopaths can be above the law, but that's the exception, not the rule. Most quickly learn that lawlessness

The DSM notes on most disorders that it needs to impair functioning. So if someone has no ability to feel empathy, but still choses to act similarly to how people who feel empathy act, then there's no impairment of normal functioning.

The Nobel committee should create a new prize to award to him: The Adolf Hitler Prize. Granted periodically to the person who matches the energy, vitality and actions of the führer. (Unfortunately, he'd not understand it was a bad thing to receive...)

(I do not have any cluster B disorders. actually, as a person with autism, i feel like most NT people are, comparatively fitting into the cluster B. I have to remind myself that the DSM category is "relative to normal" rather than "relative to my own EQ score")

sociopaths can very well choose to act in a manner consistent with a healthy society, and many do. plenty of people who can feel empathy choose to be evil anyway... judge by actions, not disability.

i live in europe. for some things, i'll run an extra spin cycle or two in the washer. with smart hanging, that's enough for pretty rapid drying (i also have two drying racks, so i can do every other row so the two sides aren't touching, and i'll position the thing in the sun. works good)

you also don't have to worry about showing up to the polling place to discover that your registration was purged. checking registration and voting in advance eliminates that risk.

Suomikim @suomikim.bsky.social · 07/10/2026
voting early also reduces the Trump Regime's ability to influence the election by e.g. deploying ICE at strategic polling places to depress turnout (presence and/or harassing/arresting voters). if you've already voted, ICE can't disturb you.

imo, i think most bad people have a DE on their way out that is rather hellish. Its not real, but based on my NDE experiences, it would sure feel real... so i don't think very many people "escape" unscathed.

Suomikim @suomikim.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
an exit experience (where the NDE becomes a DE), which lasts a very, very long time (even though in reality its only 10 seconds to 5 minutes time) People who do bad things in this life... its hard to imagine their subconscious being able to put together a DE that "emulates" reward

NDEs can be your friend. If there is nothing beyond the grave, then NDEs are just our mind going into overdrive cos we're about to die. Due to how our minds work (and based on my own NDE experience) the time compression can make 5 seconds feel like 5 years. So a person slowly dying might have

as someone who was born in the US, but left 20 years ago... i cringe whenever my new country, or any EU country buys American military or military support tech, or leans on the country in any way. developing fully indigenous defense isn't about "doing our part", it's survival. the generation that

When I served (I think dinos still walked the earth, but i need to fact check that ;) ), it used to be that you could get loan repayment if you agreed to serve for a certain number of years. Given how badly in debt doctors get, you'd think more would be tempted.

2.) when people get injured, the system has never (without being primed in anticipation of mass casualties) acted quite well. when i had a TBI in 2001, i came into work the next day dazed and confused with a massive headache. I had to stand CDO anyway, and was told that I could see the doctor

two thoughts: 1) the normal precautions and pre-planning that one would do in order to minimize casualties and prepare for enemy retaliation were simply not done... not thought about in the least... as if they either didn't expect Iran to do anything, or else didn't care what happened.
