So, apparently this game exists, I got a copy of it two months ago, tried it today for the first time and it is a videogame and there are Romans and a huge "historical" mistake in the intro and, apparently, Cleopatra. I don't know how to play, there's not much I can do, but I should check...

Well, the italian news website "Il Post" has written quite a long article to celebrate the 40th anniversary of 'Out Run'. Ok, they do have a minor gaming podcast but I didn't expect to find a full-on front page article, treated like important new. That's cool as heck. www.ilpost.it/2026/09/20/o...

Played "Mage Knight Dungeons" again after 20 years and after buying some very, very cheap pieces on Vinted and it was so cool: replayability, constant changes, random enemies, a "build your own dungeon" mechanic... Making "Mage Knight" simpler was a great idea. And it spawned "Heroclix" so, yeah!

Here are the bad Google Translated images for the back cover and instructions. I should have translated them, sure, but it's more fun to see how Google Translate fails - "pre-employer" is incredible, and it should have been "predator", which was suppossed to be "raider" to begin with.

I've tried three different datassettes and loading from both side A and side B but nothing: all I got was a loading splash screen, and a very well modified one, I'd say, but no more. The instructions made me think that this can be "The temple of doom" but I can't say for sure.

So, I guess I should quote a well know italian commercial and say "The ancient vase had to be saved". This will be the "Indian John had to be saved" thread! Recently, I got this especially wonderful italian pirated tape and, unfortunately, it doesn't load. *insert thread symbol thing*

Intertextuality. I think it is one of the best things a videogame can do, if done correctly. From intertextuality comes desire of knowledge, fresh idea of a long distant past, wanting to explore something else. After 55 hours - the game is big and the map, unfortunately, is quite a bit confusing...

...Well,it is. This print had some issues with the arm and Goku decided to take some lessons come Tenshinhan but still. I LOVE this little model. This opens quite a lot of future possibilities. Will I actually learn to use Blender?95% no,I won't.But this is a start,a something to think about for me.

Alessandro Perlini @suntaxis.bsky.social · 31/08/2025
...Now, does that mean that I'm able to use Blender properly? No, I know like 1% of what to do and I simply know it by repeating the same things that the guy in the tutorial explained. This is what I see, but I don't know any of the "why"s and "how"s. But that's enough for 3D printing, apparently?

So, three days ago I said that Shadow Labyrinth in docked mode had atrocious frame-skip issued, didn't work well, stuttered a lot... Well, this video is recorded from said docked mode. Everything's gone, not it just works almost flawlessly. What have I done to make this happen? Absolutely nothing.

Alessandro Perlini @suntaxis.bsky.social · 12/08/2025
I'm liking "Shadow Labyrinth" quite a lot, very fascinating game, even though the frame rate in Switch 2 docked mode it atrocious. It doesn't just drop: it skips. A LOT. Much worse. Fortunately for me, I play on handheld mode 90% of the time, and it runs perfectly there. It is also very hard. Woof.
