Typing this up with a bad fever so yippee. Money from VGen commissions will also be counted towards this. Disliking the property manager here the more I have to interact with her. Considered moving, but moving costs are basically the equivalent of a pre-owned car. #ESA #Fundraiser #VGenOpen #kofi

ESA Fund - 0% of goal reached

Having to re-save up for this, since the property manager where I live decided to take the money that was saved up prior to cover pet fees despite being the reason the ESA we originally saved for was unavailable. (Refused to tell us the exact paperwork we needed until it was already too late)

The money will be used for the following:
- Adoption Fee
- Pet Insurance
- Supplies (Food, toys, litter, etc)
- Transportation for the ESA
- Tracking Chip for ESA

⚠️Donations are non-refundable⚠️

Did my part. I'm so tired of companies, y'all.

If AI is integrated the way higher-up want it to be implemented, DESPITE there being even internal conflicts over this issue, it will practically crumble Twitch as a whole. The people who use this site, streamers and viewers, and what they say should be top priority in any decision made.

To act like this would not have a negative impact on the people that use the site as well as the company itself would be intentionally being ignorant to the overall problems generative AI has caused in both the environmental sense and the economical sense. As luzbel12377 has stated in an earlier statement, Amazon (and by proxy, Twitch) has already seen a $309.1B net loss after introducing AI into parts of the company targeted at consumers. Some of your BIGGEST STREAMERS are against the very notion of generative AI, and this move would more than likely take those same streamers to sites that care about their words over corporate wants, much like many other streamers are already (justifiably) taking steps to do or have already done.

A friend sent me this earlier in the day so I'm a touch mixed on Fluxer, but will be keeping an eye out on any other updates in the future!

"Fluxer was largely built before LLMs became a normal part of day-to-day development. I do use them now, but in a limited way: as a rubber duck and for mechanical implementation work when I already have a detailed spec. I treated the code it outputs like I would any external contribution.
No LLM designed the system, wrote the specs, or made architectural decisions. That was all me. I only use LLMs when I already know the platform well enough to review the result properly."
