Oc-tober Day 11! Fuu: The Wolf of Yoruba was inspired by my love of African culture and music. Films like Black Panther and artists like J Dilla, Erykah Badu, and Flylo who channel a call back home through the instruments and rhythms in their work, moved me to create something of my own. #artsky

OC-tober day 10! Ìfẹ́, swift bounty hunter and thief, needs only two things: her daggers and her coin #art #artsky #oc

"A blade keeps you alive. Coin keeps you free. The rest is just weight."

OC-tober day 9! This story explores the loss of two homes in early childhood and the price two girls pay as they search for who they are as they try to move forward. Though they think of each other as sisters, each senses a part of the other they may never fully know. #oc #art #artsky

OC-tober day 8. After the incident at the Blood Moon Festival, the hungry beast within Fuu stumbled upon the talking drum of calming, and its rhythm sealed the monster back inside her. Ìfẹ́ seemed unwilling to speak of what had happened or to reveal what Fuu truly was. #artsky #art #oc

OC-tober DAY 7 backstory. Ìfẹ́ is Fuu's adoptive older sister. Torn from her family as a child, she was trafficked across Europe until she escaped and was taken in by a tall, solitary spider. She was taught to defend herself, to hunt, and to know the worth of coins and jewels. #artsky #oc #art

OC-tober day 6! Though Anu has less muscle mass than the average beetlefolk, she perseveres with her daily training, and her slimmer build even makes her more agile! Still, beneath her tough exterior, Anu has a soft spot for Fuu, an outsider whose curiosity is endlessly charming. #oc #artsky #art

*inside her head* "stupid girl. As if making such a face would work on me."

What Anu remembers when making eye contact with the "outsider"

OC-tober DAY 5 Personality. Anu is a Horned Atlas with a fierce temper and fiercer pride 💢 Determined to level mountains as her ancestors did, she holds to the old beetlefolk ways, certain hardship will harden her armor and earn her an unbroken frame and spirit. #bweirdoctober2026 #oc #beetle

*scoffs* "I'm more than capable to take on all of you"
