Holy shit I made it back to Master Ball. This season was so much harder, and I've been stuck in mid Ultra for weeks. Was ready to throw in the towel until I saw a cool team with a bunch of my faves that did well at a tourney and decided to replace the meta cat and Cringegambit. Feels good!

I made it back to Master Ball this season! Honestly thought about throwing in the towel after getting hard walled in Ultra by Trick Room teams that trashed my Komo-o setup. Lycanroc Dusk didn't make it all the way, but it got me really far all the same, and I hope to run it again as it's a fave.

Went to see Return to Silent Hill with a couple friends. Sometimes having rock bottom expectations pays off, because I actually had fun with it. It was a glorious low budget mess that managed to have some memorable moments in spite of itself. I think it'll stick in my brain far more than Rev did.

Holy cow, I beat the gallows in FFT Tactician on my second try after big struggling on normal difficulty. Learning how to beeline the right classes and abilities makes such a big difference in addition to prioritizing crowd control over damage. Looking forward to using the story units this go!

Homestuck pilot was pretty great imo. People seem to be missing the context that this is a proof of concept, not a real first episode, hence the breakneck pacing. The performances and animation are fun & lively, and it has that flair of meta humor despite having to leverage a different medium.
