One of my favorite things about watching competitive counterstrike as someone who doesn't play it is that the players are so well spoken in their interviews

Looking back at the 3 Houses portraits they aren't as egregious, but maybe that just means I'll get used to these ones as well. And don't worry I'm really enjoying the game! Before anyone comes after me thinking I hate it!

Fortunes Weave has their eyes looking towards you, opposed to their head direction and it looks unnatural, especially with the more turned heads to show off whatever accessory, hair braid, or hairstyle they have. Like I looked at myself in the mirror trying to do it and I look like this meme.

I think what I don't like about the fire emblem character portraits in Fortunes Weave is that most of them are posed at a 3/4 or more angle but it looks awkward This angle isn't unusual in the FE series but in the other FE games minus 3 houses their eyes are looking in the direction they are facing

There were two shows/manga I watched as a kid not knowing it was shoujou, or intended for girls/women, and I didn't care because I really enjoyed them. One was Fruits Basket and the other which is getting a remake apparently, is Magic Knight Rayearth. Which is a wild throw back lol

I'd totally be interested in a folding phone the size of the Samsung z fold 8 or the new iPhone foldable... If it wasnt nearly the same price of a new PC

I've been thinking a bit about myself (what's new) and my connection with myself, friends, and others, but I haven't really reached any conclusions. I'm waiting until after this coming weekend's dance event to see how I'm feeling, then maybe we'll talk about it.

I have mixed feelings about it since it pretty much eliminates most of the dangerous elements of the game which makes me question are we still playing Splatoon? While it seems to be the stronger option I have more fun with my on the ground Power tank build

Yeah thinking about it more, it would make more sense that way. I will still hold off on future directs though since that's my preference with the amount of info I get from games before I get to play them

I'm probably going to stop watching Nintendo Directs for individual games since they can't help showing major plot points/twists in them 🤡 most of the fire emblem direct was fine until the end

Crazy how I'm watching someone play the random rotation in SR on Splat 3 and one of the first chat messages I see is "you hated raiders?" Sorry I forgot that playing one game means I literally hate every other game I'm not playing

When the dancing is great and the community is so inspiring and full of joy it truly doesn't feel like I need anything else in life. It's really up to me to take care of my body and health so I can keep on doing this until I'm an elderly Snake.

And that in some ways tragically and in other ways beautifully encapsulates our time on this planet. If everything could stop for every person that had passed, we would all be indefinitely frozen. So all we can really do is keep moving forward and find our own individual moments of frozen space time

What seems to always be the toughest part about losing a loved one is that time doesn't stop. It continues on coldly, relentlessly. And everyone else in the world who didn't know them continues on as they always would. But for others when they have lost a loved one, you also unknowingly do the same.

I hope anyone who didn't play previous Star Fox games and is interested in the new one to give it a try. It's absolutely beautiful and the gameplay is a lot of fun! I'm still keen on the N64 version with the original voices and lines so I will stick with that, but I loved seeing the added cutscenes

The whole thumb wrestling bit as well as the avatar camera thing on the Star Fox direct felt like an attempt to bring back Reggie/Iwata levels of humor to the presentation, but it really falls flat, and feels out of place with everything else around it. It just ain't the same man 😔

I gotta go to the doctor or PT to see why I can't play DDR without pain for 20 minutes, while I can go dancing for hours with some soreness but not pain. It might just be how I'm stepping down on the pad or what part of my foot I step with but I tried different parts and stepping lighter too so idk

It doesn't matter anymore but my brain won't leave me alone until I post this so here is an updated salmon run weapon tier list in 2026 (bruh) that doesn't mean anything and that I'm not 100% convinced is "correct" (I should have ballpoint higher) but I think is nice to lay out visualize.

I started plotting/writing a story back when I was in highschool and it's funny because back then I wanted most of my main cast of characters to be "older and out of high school for more mature characters" and made them 22-25 years old 🤡 looking back as a mid 30s snake I'm like "oh silly young snek"
