ah I forgot I wrote some of my latest developments on ko-fi earlier, if anyone wants to pry. I don't really talk about comic work here anymore so maybe you're curious. but it's very messily written cause I was not in the mood to make it pretty :> ko-fi.com/post/Sorry-I...

same with the AI flag in the video itself, ESPECIALLY for music

I wish all AI generated thumbnails a very "Don't recommend channel"

I finished `redacted's affinity mission,it was fun but my Cross was completely OOC, Sunel would have been on board from the first second and also I can't believe redacted stole my lore

#linktober day 2 - weapons i am a big sucker for bows 🏹

link with snowquill outfit set, pulling an arrow on the great eagle bow. his expression looks focused while his face is flushed from the cold as bits of snow can be seen falling.

so basically I forced myself to do something I should enjoy (boot X to finish post game missions) but what I really did was change Sunel's haircolor by 1 shade

Sun🍉 @suneia.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

what I would do if I was a bird

110

Sun🍉 @suneia.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

that sounds very specific so I will check (i'd rather trust a bsky reply and pretend a BLADE told me than google it haha) I know which hexagon it's supposed to be or at least the one that counts for mission completion but I can't find the trigger so perhaps Cauldros completion is missing..

I kept saying if I get to write a Special Thanks i'd have to name the trillion japanese composers i listen on repeat but now that I have the chance I don't know if I have the balls HAHA

Sun🍉 @suneia.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Again the idea is to get the idea across with minimal rendering. Tbh I like the unfinishedness of it, getting the idea across tends to be more satisfactory for me than rendering a whole piece to its finer details. if I were to continue I'd just paint over tbh maybe minimal layer separation

160

Sun🍉 @suneia.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

slightly more informative process shots, (1st picture is ref and client notes) i don't always start or continue in grayscale but because of the rock contrast it was practical for a piece like this.

Sun🍉 @suneia.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I also want to come up with some alternative comm styles or formats. if anyone has any requests or ideas just let me know (character sheet? plain sketches?)

I love the Lancer theme. Be a little fucking silly a little fucking stupid is what it means

190

Sun🍉 @suneia.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

also illogical to think these thoughts while burnt out but I guess burnout IS a time for self reflection

040

Sun🍉 @suneia.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

For example, I don't feel like drawing my own comic characters outside of the comic. I see other creators making extra content all the time because they really feel like it. It lowkey makes me feel bad how I don't have the same amount of output or respect for my own stuff idk

170

Sun🍉 @suneia.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

maybe it comes down to money. If I made a fair amount of money for drawing a fair amount of time, would I have the energy to indulge more?

170

Sun🍉 @suneia.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

the fact that I don't really draw for myself anymore makes me question a lot of things. am i not obsessed enough? does drawing my comics count already? is it because I am drawing so much already? I definitely feel more like painting but even painting for myself is rare.

it's ok to dive right into it head on and crash terribly. in fact I think that's the only way, since there are a trillion ways to paint. then the next time you try you can do better or try it differently.
