From what I understand the Z-Drive works to the inverse of the anomaly Jayce and Viktor used for the hexgates. So it combining and exploding Viktor who had fed off the hexgate power made them wink out of existence? Idk the ending is so messy

I have and before I fought against people who were good at fighting millia I heavily vouched this angle. But against good players millia only has a few usable tools. Against a good player you functionally lose: iad, delay disc, kapel, tf, dash 2k, any use of 6k, cs-fs-5h ob, any ob special enders

Think of it like this. Baiken hkd -> safejump is always real and leads to potential looping offense. The only hits that Millia has that lead to meterless, real, and strong oki is the first cS/5K/2K - 2D everything else is at best a semi-reactable LR safejump or just a knowledge check

I agree with most of this and I’ll let you have Millia’s conversion ability being slightly better, however the few extra spots that she can convert where baiken can’t she gets terrible damage and worse oki. Whereas basically all of baikens hits lead to good oki/wincon when they actually convert.

I think you are lumping Millia’s bad OSable knockdowns in with her actual real mix. Also her neutral is only good if you are letting her hit air normals for free or are letting her run point blank. She has no advancing normals/specials so her threat range is literally just 2K.
