This builds on some of the work we carried out at Caltech and USC, on the cover in Science Translational Medicine last year (fUSi through a PMMA window in a human subject.) Now, Soloukey et al. take it further: successful fUSi in a patient during locomotion! 🏃‍♂️🧠

🚀 Functional ultrasound imaging (fUSi) of the human brain is moving quick! Sadaf Soloukey and the Kruizinga lab (Netherlands) just demonstrated ultrasonic brain imaging in patients with ultrasound-transparent skull/cranioplasty. Incredible work! 🧠🔊
