I found this chart many, many years ago and it is to this day the best pain scale that I have found, basing it off of how it's experienced Recently I have begun applying it to my fatigue instead of pain and the amount of times I've hit a 9 on Fatigue is kinda distressing

A 0-10 Scale of Pain Severity, describing each step by how it is experienced

0 - No Pain - I have no pain

1 - Minimal - My pain is hardly noticeable

2 - Mild - I have a low level of pain. I am aware of my pain only when I pay attention to it

3 - Uncomfortable - My pain bothers me but I can ignore it most of the time

4 - Moderate - I am constantly aware of my pain but I can continue most activities

5 - Distracting - I think about my pain most of the time. I cannot do some of the activities I need to do each day because of the pain

6 - Distressing - I think about my pain all the time. I give up many activities because of the pain

7 - Unmanageable - I am in pain all of the time. It keeps me from doing most activities

8 - Intense - My pain is so severe that it is hard to think of anything else. Talking and listening is difficult

9 - Severe - My pain is all that I can think about. I can barely talk or move because of the pain

10 - Unable to Move - I am in bed and can't move due to the pain. I need someone to take me to the emergency room to get help for my pain

The last one I don't have a picture for, but it's for my FFXIV OC, Hikari! A little like Ysayle, she will (eventually) be able to shift into a phoenix by the help of her Kami patron! And I imagine she has a half-primed harpy-phoenix version, ala Joshua from FFXVI!

Cialyn's is a bit wacky - being when she has gotten peeled back. Under the skin she's a bit more like an arcane elemental, of sorts? in the making So hers is an astral form of sorts! And usually isn't a GOOD THING when it comes out. The left pic is one happened, the right is theoretical!

I think that the Limsa storyline is genuinely the best one for starting the game. As much as I love Ul'dah for the connection it gives to Thancred, Ul'dah and the Sultanate, Limsa just gives you a much clearer idea of just... What you are? Griddy too but Griddy kinda sucks otherwise...

Unlike her RP counterpart, #Wolkari didn't have time to think up a good alias when she got to Limsa Lominsa - Baderon kind of jumped it on her. Thankfully the old pirate has been around the block and made a comment about the crystal she wears looking like amber. So it became her nickname! Amber!

A hobby observer from Denmark here, the species appears to be very common. Do you think it's a case of a distant, flattened relative? Considering that their internal structure is so different, it may be a case of convergence on a similar feeding strategy
