Isn't imposter syndrome wild? I was brave and switched job fields, worked hard to get a dream job. Then there were layoffs. I knew I was good at this job, was assured by my team lead, colleagues, department lead and CEO. Even got it in writing. And yet the thought remains, "I am not good enough"

I miss Twitter sometimes. While I personally think Bsky is the best alternative, engagement here never reached what it reached on Twitter. I miss the connections I made and strengthened over there. And frankly, being out of the loop when it comes to gossip is a blessing and a curse at the same time.

Honestly, 2025 has been miserable for the most part. My mental health hit an all-time low. One thing that helped me feel a lot better, was dialling back my own streams and content in order to strengthen the @ceosofscreams.bsky.social. I could not imagine being any prouder of this team.

This week, I finally changed my name on most Social Media platforms. I was CptnSumi for many years, but wanted to change it for many months. Short & clean was it supposed to be. I needed Sumi to be the first part of the name. I'm now Sumimee, but you can still call me Sumi. ♥

The number one piece of advice, when you want to be successful on social media, is to “niche down”! Every streamer, every content creator, every influencer out there will tell you the same thing. But will that make you happy? I'm done, niching down: captainsumi.de/2025/05/06/i...

When you watch tutorials titled "Pixel Art for Beginners," they all say the same thing: "Start small." 16x16 or 32x32 pixels, nothing bigger. I think it's safe to say... I did not follow that advice. Here's the progress from the last 3 days!

🎮✨ Looking for a new opportunity in Social Media Management! ✨🎮
Hey everyone! I’m Mareike, and I’m currently open to new opportunities in Social Media Management. I'm available for remote roles across Europe or hybrid positions in the Cologne, Germany area. 💼🌍

After 13 years in web development, I decided to pursue my true passion: social media! 🚀
I completed an 8-week full-time course and became a certified social media manager, which led to me landing a position at Toplitz Productions, the publisher best known for Medieval Dynasty 🏰

There, I worked for 9 months creating content, managing channels, collaborating with creators, and editing all the short-form content across their game portfolio. 🎬✨
(And yes, I have written confirmation they were very happy with my work! 💌)

Unfortunately, due to the performance of some 2024 releases, several of us were let go, but I’m eager and ready to bring my skills, creativity, and empathy to a new team! 🌱

Some of my strengths include:
💡 Strategic planning and creative content creation
✂️ Video editing and short-form storytelling
📈 Influencer outreach and UGC coordination
🧠 Strong analytical thinking and adaptability
🤝 Empathetic communication and team spirit
🎨 Bonus: a background in design, tech, and a love for gaming!

If you're looking for someone passionate about community, storytelling, and growing authentic brands, I’d love to chat! DMs are open or feel free to connect via LinkedIn. 💬

Thanks so much for reading! 💖

I just saw some of the upcoming Halloween costumes for the Coral Island characters... Mark wearing a harness gave me a nose bleed... Is that costume a reference? I can place the other costumes very clearly, but his I do not know?
