Uudessa Niin et Näinissä on ensimmäinen taiteellinen tutkimusartikkelini! Olen hiukan höhheessäni nyt kyllä.

I am a literature connoisseurer

A screenshot of my kindle highlights from Barbara Pym's novel Excellent women. The highlighted quote says "dim spinster" and I've added a comment: "What a great band name".

I made this extremely simple and clear illustration as a pre-read for my seminar talk about my dissertation.

A messy collage of vintage anatomical illustrations, charts about enactive cognition, the covers of Corpus by Jean Luc Nancy and Le Corps Lesbien by Monique Wittig, and two quotes about the body by Jean Luc Nancy.

I guess I'm letting my freak flag fly a little in this presentation about my dissertation project.

An AI-generated image of a cartoon-like drawing. A brain dripping with water is rising from an ocean horizon, with a rain cloud above it. The sky is a flat black, the water is blue with little white foam caps. The brain has a reddish, glowing quality with blue water rivulets dripping from it. The cloud is fluffy and white, and the water drippung from it has bluish shading. On the top left, a text reads "Today's exercise".

I feel it's time to share these genuine Finnish Yuletide greetings again.

A screenshot with English translations from shockingly depressing Finnish Christmas songs describing the brevity and bleakness of life, scarcity of resources and inevitable deaths of loved ones.

This airplane will only charge works with artistic merit.

Photo of an charging port on an airplane seat. A sign for the adjoining pocket that says "literature only" is placed confusingly so that it seems to refer to the charging port.

Kuvataideakatemia, Helsinki

A gray brutalist staircase framing a banner hung from a railing up high. On the banner is a text spray painted in red: "Be silent when kids are sleeping, not when they are bombed."
