It’s 2 or 4 for me. 3 = rule taking but not making which is a no go for a large economy like the UK. 2 seems perfectly reasonable but my preference would be for 4 - just depends if the EU would give a good enough deal. The Cameron experience suggests not but I suspect the EU has learnt its lesson

I think so much about those plans. Has anyone asked Rachel about them? They should.

Haha not now that’s for sure - maybe later if they reverse the Zionism policy

You don’t think being prepared to support a member of **Al Qaeda** in public is at all problematic? Someone accused of planning a suicide bombing at Heathrow?

I actually like and previously admired Polanski but his conduct over the Zionism motion demonstrates very poor leadership imo. I’ve voted for the Greens a lot in the last decade but can’t vote for them again while the Zionism motion - which I think is racist in itself - remains party policy.

Well we obviously differ on what leadership means - particularly in a time with thousands of entryists coming into the party. I’ve voted for the Greens many times but I won’t be doing so again until the motion is reversed

But he should have paid attention to the one extremely damaging thing in his intray - the Zionism motion. That’s leadership - he failed.

It was painful to listen to it

I thought it was a car crash for Polanski personally - I was sitting listening to it, cringing at his inability to give a clear answer. If you believe in a two state solution, for example, what is the problem with agreeing that there should be a Jewish state?

This sounds like a ref to the guy from Kate Bush’s Babooshka to be fair - ‘just like his wife when she was beautiful’ etc

Yes but surely relatively low cost, as part of news gathering etc - I really don’t understand the logic of cutting the show unless ratings are particularly low

I bought a short maroon one from Camden Market when I was in my 20s and I’m struggling to work out how I ever thought it was fashionable. Perhaps it wasn’t! 😬

Yes no more ghastly racist remarks about Muslims praying in squares from Nick Timothy pls - and sacking him if he says anything similar (I’m imagining this is what you’re saying, over the paywall…)

Did you hear her extended interview with Ed Balls? She was a revelation - funny, serious and thoughtful - even if I didn’t agree with her. It’s a shame she can’t or won’t project that personality more - I think (centrist) voters would respond positively. Balls did go easy on her but she was good!

Gill, this is going to do so much damage - is already damaging - the party. And for what? A gesture? Amazing progress trashed.

Suisnish @suisnish.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
The worst thing is that the motion helps neither Palestine nor the E&W Green Party one bit. It’s the definition of factional gesture politics and will deter many many people from voting Green.

Suisnish @suisnish.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
An absolute disaster for the Greens - can’t believe Polanski didn’t show more leadership - entirely pointless gesture politics that does real harm

Brexit is so discredited with the centre voters she needs to get back that any reference to ‘needing to reopen the agreement on Northern Ireland’, ‘needing to reopen the EU withdrawal agreement’ would I think be super toxic. Particularly if Burnham offers Customs Union instead.

Suisnish @suisnish.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
The ‘Leave the ECHR’ policy is so disastrous- literally Brexit 2 - that any focus on it whatsoever would lead to an immediate implosion of Tory chances, such as they are (very low indeed)

@lner.co.uk 👋 how do I change the date of a return leg of one ticket in a booking for two people? If you can’t help, how can I speak to someone to get it sorted? I’ve trawled your website and there seems to be no way to contact anyone.

Today’s the anniversary of the passing into law of Section 28 in 1988, the first homophobic legislation in a century. Politicians and media said it was our own fault, told us to shut up and give up. We didn’t. Dont you dare give up now on trans people.
