Can’t even download my TikTok data because I don’t remember my password and I’d set up a passkey for it over 2 years ago. I’m so sad 😔

Anyway, if y’all wanna read something cozy, fun, and gay, might I offer Sorcery and Small Magics by Maiga Doocy for your reading pleasure! Grumpy x roguish charming aristocrat, forced proximity, adult academia, and SLOW slow-burn. It’s the first in a new trilogy and I highly recommend!

The cover of Maiga Doocy’s debut adult queer fantasy Sorcery and Small Magics. The interior depicts the silhouettes of two robed men, one with a feather and the other with fire in their palms. Behind them is a deep blue forest. Between them is a large red flower. The perimeter is decorated by plant motifs, mushrooms, and insects, as well as paper and quill, a violin, and the head of a large black wolf-like creature, all of which nod to the iconography of the book. The color palette is vibrant but mostly earth tones overlayed on the deep blue forest and stars background.

I forget how casually homophobic most people here are because I didn’t think anything of it but when I recommended black doves to someone they were like “…yeah I tried but it got…weird” and I was so confused thinking we could not be talking about the same show. 🧵

Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

as LA is burning, a swath of the country is recovering from an ice storm, Alabama is preparing for up to 6” of snow and I’m praying for the TX power grid, a reminder: we don’t need climate action just for future generations, we need it now. the climate crisis is here, all around us

after seeing taehyung today…..just going to leave my favorite tweet here as my response. no further comments at this time. 🙇‍♀️

Screenshot of a tweet from user namwoosmuse on twitter. It is originally written in Chinese and in reference to a picture of Kim Namjoon. The translations reads: I will open my mouth and take big bites of your huge breasts. Then I will open my anus behind me and let you impale me with that huge dragon-slaying eagle.
Until the flowers fade, until my room becomes sticky, until your semen rushes from behind me toward my esophagus and out of my throat. Until the blood flowing in my veins becomes your semen. Until I howled loudly, which made me very happy.

Also, I have been plagued with desires to draw Yoongi as Jinx from arcane. The brain worms long to be fed 🤌

I know I need to transfer my navigation over to this site, but I don’t think a single part of me wants to go through organizing my navigation right now 💀

I feel in general this might be a good opportunity for me to start over. Just because I’ve felt a bit trapped elsewhere. I’m still working on chapters projects when I can, I promise. I think I’d just really like to find a stronger, closer community here.

if you feel like you’re writing something that’s “already been done” then remember that feeling you get when you read a trope you love and how exciting it feels finding out that there are more stories with that trope and you can keep consuming it. that’s how your readers will feel too.
