The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific. If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

In the MI Senate Appropriations Commitee, we are reviewing the threats that schools & workforce programs are facing from the cuts and chaos coming from Trump/Republicans. 11% of Michigan's funding, $2.2B/year comes to support special education, kids in poverty, & food programs. Dr Rice presenting.

Good morning. Republicans want to throw millions of people off Medicaid so they can give a new giant tax cut for billionaires and corporations. Their plan: $1.1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid and food assistance to afford $1.1 trillion in tax giveaways for the richest 1%.

We fight on all fronts. Republicans are trying to pass another resolution blaming the country’s problems on gay and transgender kids and drag shows. To distract from measles outbreaks, rising costs, and the stock market crash. I’m on the Senate floor now to stop it.

Trump isn’t cutting waste and abuse. He’s cutting programs that help regular people - like Medicaid - to fund tax cuts for billionaires and corporations. He only closes agencies that were stopping his rich friends bilk consumers.
