UPDATE: Logging machines have entered Orara East State Forest — under police guard. This is the forest promised as part of the Great Koala National Park. Instead of protection, the Premier has sent in extinction machines and police to defend them.

The critically endangered Leadbeater’s possum has been found in Kosciuszko National Park! It was thought to be extinct in NSW.
