Yes. On GLPs, yes. Please read about the impact they have on pancreas, liver, intestine, stomach, brain. Sounds like you have never been overweight/obese and are trying to understand the disease and mechanism. The newer research puts to bed the old theories about weight and health.

What's wonderful about the GLPs is that willpower is NOT required. They take away the food noise, stop any desire for snacks or even alcohol. It is much much easier to lose weight and correct the underlying disease processes with GLPs. That's why millions and millions of us use.

Maybe think this way: if you don't produce enough insulin (hormone), or at the right time, or your body can't process the insulin correctly, and take in the same number of calories, you won't "process" that intake and store as fat rather than use as fuel. The liver is also involved. Please read more

The latest obesity research is fascinating - lots of bad "info" too. Obesity is a disease. It's not just storage of excess calories. It's hormones (GLP1s work on brain hormones) and inflammation and metabolic issues. Gotta fix the underlying issues to lose weight if obese.

We (Seattle) has had several mayors over the past couple decades focused on bike lanes - most major streets have them but not all have physical barriers yet. Pete Buttigieg focused on this at fed DOT to stop ped deaths with federal $$$ allocated.
