No- it was possibly a payoff for them making an offer he couldn’t refuse. I trust Gore, but wish he would have kept fighting. However we don’t know what threats they may have made. Dangerous ones. I don’t trust the Bush crew at all (well, Bush was a figurehead for the dark group “behind” him.)
