Rolled my ankle pretty bad yesterday but I’m being very well taken care of <3 love my housemates so much I do miss jumping & bouncing around but I’m doing everything right for healing

A TV tray of food on my lap. Stew, saltines, doritos and an orange soda. The injured ankle is sticking out past the tray

happy international lesbian day

Renée is standing between her desk & bookshelf, lifting her long red hair into a ponytail to expose her freckled shoulders.

Comfy girl among her various devices

Renée is wearing her comfy large purple & blue flannel and green glasses. She is sitting in her computer chair, and you can see some of her computers over her shoulder and head.
There's two PC towers, an iMac, two mac minis, an ancient dell laptop and a couple storage enclosures.
There's also a red lamp at the top of the frame, and a green one on the desk.

Good late morning almost noon, coffee in my favorite cup

A cute redheaded girl with her hair in a bun, wearing green glasses and a dark blue tank top, sitting on the couch under a blanket. She’s holding a coffee mug shaped and colored like a pineapple. She painted it herself!

I'm amazed I got here with minimal references to the wiki & in-game signage. The codex is excellent, I did have to rely on the wiki most to get my train stations set up.

An extremely wide shot to showcase the length of the train track against the mass of land that is Ficsit property

Aluminum production from an elevated view. We can see the train station, two blenders, and several smelters on a platform on the surface of a lake. The train station is named Aluminum Lake.

Aluminum lake from a higher view. A large ramp above the whole production hosts the power lines. A nitrogen gas pipe is barely visible at the bottom edge

The casual coldness of the dialogue tickled me. Total play time 550 hours, there were many days mixed in where I let my PC run overnight to let resources accumulate.

Giant platform for alien products, dwarfing the train station to the left. Coal plants visible near the water on the left. A very long train track next to a tall wall of conveyors curves between natural rock pillars towards the nuclear power center

Closer view of two very tall walls of conveyors curves around belts, 9 and 10 rows high for nuclear power & alien products respectively. Hub Station is to the left, with rock pillars towering above it.

Wide angle view of a large platform floating above the water, supporting at least 10 nuclear reactors. The supply conveyors and train track are visible coming in from the left.

Closer view of what we now know to be 15 nuclear reactors on the platform above the water. A particle accelerator is partially visible in the middle-left.

While you are razing down forests & blocking out the sun with concrete your 'helpful' AI coworker ADA occasionally chides you for dragging your feet no matter how well you do, while at the same time flirting with a mysterious Alien AI that speaks in clouded metaphors of symphonies, curves and blood.

Computer production front & center. The very edge of copper production is in the bottom-right corner. A very long conveyor belt for quartz extends into the distance.

Turbo fuel production front and center, suspended in the air.

Turbo fuel generators in the bottom-left, alien products platform in the upper-left. Standard fuel generator in the far right.

Birds Eye view of iron, copper, turbo fuel & advanced manufacturing centers. Space elevator in top-left corner, gunpowder production in the upper-right

I finished the final stage of Satisfactory yesterday! This game is for you if you love the ruthless pursuit of number-go-up efficiency while holding a map of spaghetti in your head known only to you. As someone with a homelab, immediate appeal there.

Satisfactory main hub from above. Visible areas are copper & iron processing, computer production, and the space elevator. Behind the elevator but difficult to see are alien products and fuel generators. Sulfur production is off -frame to the left

Copper production from a closer view, the two platforms above copper are for iron processing. Computer production is edging in from the right, space elevator is barely visible at the top.

Iron processing view from the back, up close view at the smelters. Alien products in the far back left, computer production to the right.

Iron processing from rods to rotors & modular frames. Train station visible in the upper left. Alien products in top middle. Some fuel generators visible in the right edge & top-right corner.

A well applied blend of insomnia and autistic obsession has gotten me into stage 5 of Satisfactory and good lord it feels like I’m wielding alchemical magic in an industrial spaghetti pit I love it

Oh I forgot to include my cute lil Proxmox host from downstairs! His name is Merlin, he’s hosting a mirrored 16TB ZFS pool that functions as my NAS. Various LXC containers for my Tailscale exit node, dns, web server, and even a VM for docker when LXC won’t cut it. Backups via iSCSI & zfs-send.
