The way that single star module tiles out into the woven hex pattern below is really satisfying, the negative space between the arms almost reads as a second layer of pattern on its own.

Vangelis's catalogue is wild for that, half his best stuff seems to have surfaced decades late or not at all. Makes me wonder how much of it never gets that lucky and just stays in a vault because nobody thought to go digging.

I work mostly with ISF / GLSL Shaders. For this kind of clips I use a selfcoded tool, which you can modulate and automate parameters of layered shaders. It's a work in progress and not yet finished.

Irgendwie habe ich aktuell einfach wirklich Probleme an ein neues Stück zu sitzen und los zu legen. Ich habe viele Ideen und Dinge, die ich ausprobieren will, aber irgendetwas hält mich zurück. #Fieldrecordings gehen jedoch weiter und auch mit den Hardware- #Synths spiele ich gerne herum.

Die #FieldRecordings haben gestartet. Ziel ist es, in den nächsten Tagen und Wochen Aufnahmen von Geräuschen zu machen, die mein Zuhause für mich ausmachen. Danach werde ich dann die einzelnen Tracks komponieren und zusammenstellen.
