Harbour Masters has shifted into using ridiculous amounts of AI generated code and even some assets recently, and their projects arguably do not meet the requirements of the PC gaming wiki anymore. They've even started trying to hide some of the AI usage by removing the AI coauthor, but it's still very easy to see that it's AI. Got a Retroid Mini in December and tested it out by playing through Sonic Colours via the True Colours mod. Felt super impressive to be playing this on such a tiny device. My opinion of Colours just keeps going up the more I play it cause this was a great time. 4/5

Only thing I 'beat' in November is technically Minecraft, though I'm only counting it because of Vocacraft ending this month. Not enough I could say about that experience though, legitimately life changing and something I'll be thinking about for years. One of the best parts of 2025 for me.

Played through the Switch 2 version of Sonic X Shadow Generations to try out the upgraded Shadow side. On a technical level it's good, roughly on par with my Legion Go. The controls are completely have far too sensitive movement regardless of the controller though. Still great regardless 4/5

Right after that I imported my Yellow and Red Teams into Pokemon Stadium. I was expecting this to get kinda repetitive, and in fairness it kinda is. But I've really grown to love Gen 1's battle system in the last year and getting to revisit both teams meant I loved my time with this. 4/5

October started off with me finishing up a playthrough of Pokémon Yellow. Probably wasn't the best idea to play it so soon after Red but I still had a great time and it's nice to have finally finished the game on my original cart. 3.5/5

Only game I really "beat" in September was Peak. I got to the Peak so I guess that means I beat it (like 75% of it was me dead tho lol). Top quality friendslop, definitely worth a go with a group though I definitely wouldn't have enjoyed it much solo. No banner for this month cause I'm lazy. 3.5/5

On my way home from a holiday the ferry I was on had a Daytona Championship USA cab so I gave that a go. I really sucked at it but it was still great arcade SEGA racing fun. Sitting back and listening to Takenobu Mitsuyoshi singing Let's Go Away made the rough journey a lot more tolerable. 3.5/5

I finsihed my first (I think) shmup back in August with GG Aleste on the Gamegear. It was ok enough but idk if it's just due to being a low resolution gamegear game but I had a bit of trouble with visibility at times. The difficulty was super inconsistent as well which didn't feel great. 2.5/5

It's gonna be weird not having anything to look forward to every Sunday night anymore but god if the last 10 hasn't been amazing. Here's how I went out.

Played through all of the single player stuff in Chu Chu Rocket yesterday. This was really fun. It's a nice simple concept but some of these puzzles are devilish lmao. The stage challenge was great too. Don't think the multiplayer is my thing but the puzzles are fantastic. 4/5

Finally got around to playing through Kirby's Dreamland 3 after putting it off for the last few years. It's pretty decent overall, and looks and sounds absolutely brilliant, but let down by an unresponsive camera and some cryptic heart stars. Definitely not as much a pain as I expected though. 3/5

Haven't played much of anything in a while so decided to booy up Toree 2 today. I think I slightly prefer the first game but 2's still a really great game. Also they give Toree cute little hats in a few levels so that makes it near perfect by default. 4/5

Getting back into playing some fighting games. Decided to finally try out Mortal Kombat 11 after getting a free copy a while back. It's pretty fun but I wish it had back to block and (surprisingly) motion inputs. It's definitely a little stiffer than I'd like without them. Still good though. 3/5

Rather than play a good game, right around now seemed the perfect time to revisit Sonic Forces. I wouldn't call it good but I think I better understand and respect what it was trying to do and what it did manage to get right alot more. It's not the stain on the series I once thought it was 2.5/5

Did a quick run through Sonic Colours Ultimate now that the restored acts mod is a thing. It's definitely my favourite way to experience Colours now but Ultimate is still a bit too jank, stuttery, and crash heavy for me. At least the mod also works on the Wii version though. 3.5/5

Started up Pokémon Snap this morning and ended up finishing it in a day. It's a relatively short but very enjoyable little "rail shooter" and I definitely understand why people wanted a sequel for so long. It's super charming and I loved being able to interact with Pokémon in the wild. 3.5/5
