During Robyn and Simon's recent field work planning trip to Lake Ogawara, Northern Japan, they had the opportunity to visit the Towada Volcano, a highly eruptive force during the Late Palaeolithic which has now formed into a caldera.

Why do we, as a society, accept that the North Sea is overbuilt? This question was discussed at the ‘Rewilding Dogger Bank’ workshop, Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands where SLRC’s Vince Gaffney shared perspectives from SLRC projects with a diverse group from the EU and the U.K.
