A couple of weeks ago, we published the Steam store page for our upcoming and unreleased puzzle game, 204Snake, and today we decided to look up our game on search engines. The results were rather troubling. Alongside our actual game, we found countless links leading to a complete and blatant AI generated ripoff, shamelessly using the exact same name as our own game.
The ripoff has the same premise as our game, the same control scheme, similar level layouts and it hopelessly attempts to emulate our game's visual style. Aside from some of the rules being slightly different, one distinguishing and disgusting feature of the AI version is that it locks move undos behind advertisements.

Went grocery shopping with my dad. He dropped his ebt card in the store. He didnt realize it until it was time to pay. Couldn't find it anywhere, or the car. The minute I told the lady to cancel the transaction bc we lost a card, she asked who lost it and we said it was us.

Without question, Blacksky. I had a really negative experience with Bluesky and its staff before the site even dropped, so it felt it was gonna be more of the same that we’ve already seen. It wasn’t until I read about Blacksky and its ideas that I become curious about AtProto.
