Yesterday's #drawsteel session was interesting. My players were setup for a frustrating slog of a fight. Instead of letting it ride, I talked to them about it. I asked them to trust me to deploy a cut scene and put them in a more dramatic situation.

I have a physical copy of every issue so far! Not only is every issue filled with great stuff, it's also been fun building a physical collection of something again! #drawsteel

It started with a @jamesintrocaso.bsky.social video Getting Into Game Design. I started writing that night. 4 years later, I dared to lead a Draw Steel magazine with the best community of all. It's issue 6, and that's year one of TBG. tabletopnonsenseverse.myshopify.com/products/the... #drawsteel

@jondenor.com's suicidal Shadow really wanted to die in Nomas today. Thanks to @dojikaan.bsky.social's Talent, we only had to suffer through one PC death. #drawsteel

This is the thing to read for companies and indie publishers. Companies won't read it. So it behooves us small folk to learn from it. Organised communication and fair compensation are key. We will keep striving towards this goal. There's a lot of room for improvement.

Yes we would love to add adventures. Cost of production makes it hard to promise. But we certainly want to.
