Some pics from my hike this morning. This is in Rodenbach Germany near Kaiserslautern (there's more than one Rodenbach). Trail head is less than 2 minutes from my house.

Wife getting ready for Halloween...

Went out to celebrate 1st week in Germany. Wife had Schnitzel Bolegnese, and I had a Cordon Blue Schnitzel. Blood Orange beer made on site was killer. Massive portions so we have lunch for tomorrow covered.

This one speaks to me...

Map of U.S. with each state coded in a color based on my preference to live there or not...New England states rated the best for me, followed by PNW. Most southern and Midwest are no-go's with the rest being either maybe or reluctantly.

Just finished this one. I've always been fascinated/ jealous of Crowe's incredible life and the amazing stories that go along with it. He captures all of that in this book and provides background to his most famous articles, books and movies. Very easy read full of vivid imagery.
