BRAPA STAT UPDATE: Somerset has overtaken Hants & Dorset and temporarily went level with Wilts, but Wilts slammed the door in Somerset’s face yesterday with a five pub haul to leave Cumbria nervous. Glos n Bris should overtake Staffs & E Sussex today, Kent anxious. Heref too. Wot drama here!

Pub 3367, Cross Keys, Lydford on Fosse. It’s a brilliant pub and the Summer Lightning purred like a happy kitten but the staff were so cliquey, in a ‘we are what we are, and we love it!’ way that a visitor could never penetrate. Jarring! But what boozer.
