The results of my rescue mission. The two little ones in brown pots were the last two of their species that were still alive, there were 7 or 8 dead ones with them. The tall one the and the tiny will be fine. The purple one was too pretty to leave behind! 🪴💜💚

This morning I went to the store that I buy my houseplants from, I was looking for more pots for the baby plants I've propagated. I couldn't find the pots I wanted. But I found a couple of sickly looking plants that need rescuing. I'm 90% sure I'll end up going back tomorrow to buy them. I'm weak. 🪴

I have a guitar that I can't play. I've had it since I was 17. Now I'm 37. I keep wondering if I should I buy a left-handed guitar. I'm ambidextrous and my left hand clearly doesn't work for chords, maybe my right hand will. But I worry that I'll end up with two guitars that I can't play.

I handed in my 2 weeks notice and I was told to attend a disciplinary meeting if I intended to continue working there. So I just left that day. Awkward. 4 months later, the manager asked me to cover for her while she took a week's holiday. So I did, but she was there the whole week. Super awkward.

My #F1 hot take for the day is this: Nico Hulkenberg did not deserve a penalty for hitting Carlos Sainz at the Monaco Grand Prix because it was the karma Williams deserved for blocking him with their go-slow pit strategy (and also it was clearly accidental). IMO Williams robbed Nico of his points.

I say this every year, but if they want more overtaking in the #F1 Monaco Grand Prix next season they should remove the Nouvelle Chicane. That will create more opportunities to overtake between the Tunnel and Tabac.

I spent the afternoon writing a petition (to shutdown AI data centers to save water and jobs) to upload on the petitions.parliament.uk website without realizing there was a 300 character limit. I'm only 3790 characters over the limit. I even had references. I worked hard for nothing. 😒
