Writing is hard, I just hit 1,000,000 photos taken in 2.5 years since I got into motorsports. It has taught me so much and I got the chance to see just how much it helped me after shooting ASC. I want to do a proper write up of all the things I learned in my journey, so keep your eyes out.

The lighting was chefs kiss good and the fog machines in the words of the AV team "hides our sins". It was a great performance and I think I got some amazing shots. Glad you liked them and if there is anything you need that I might have feel free to poke me.

Dayum, these photos! Some excellent captures from our @anthrosocal.org set by the amazing @stuperfox.bsky.social. Really captures the amazing job the #ASC2026 lighting and stage crew did for our show!

And do I dare go on camera, I can set up cameras to record me working to splice in from an outside POV.

010

StuperFox @stuperfox.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I think I can do that. I had more of me walking the pits but my long hair kept getting in the way. I might try to keep the shoulder set up but get it mounted better. I am still debating if that POV is good since you my cover it when I bring a camera up to shoot.

StuperFox @stuperfox.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

What are people's thoughts in where the camera is and what I showed? The spot I mounted the camera isn't the best since it moves around and I am trying to decide if I should fix it, or move it. What does everyone want to see?

A bit more from my weekend. I am actually starting to feel like I am getting over some stuff in my own head. Stuff now has more pop/contrast and it looks more like what I like in others work.

It was, especially day 2 in the rain.

This weekend is a local even that is running 1920-1930 Bugatti race cars on the track (and actually racing them). Here is a few of the shots I got today that I really like.

I am going to try and do it more. This time taught me a lot and I can work on improving my flows better.

Finally got my first video edited (literally learned Resolve so dont make fun of me too much) of me shooting Indycar this year at PIR. youtu.be/daDxNNC-5gE Please feel free to give me any feedback and let me know what I could do better or change in the future.

It is a lot, I really need to just clip it down to shorter bits or string it together into a long video of me working. I am very mobile so I shoot for 2-5 laps then move usually (unless I need a specific car doing a specific thing then I hang out a bit more).

StuperFox @stuperfox.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Most likely what it will be.

StuperFox @stuperfox.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Basically, I have no idea how to edit it or what to do.

110

StuperFox @stuperfox.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Time to edit 14k pics over 3 days of shooting, and I have 172gb of gopro footage to figure out what to do with.

Day 1 of Indycar is a wrap and i am home with the dog in bed. It was exhausting but a blast. Enjoy the motion of the cars with more to come tomorrow.

I am a bit too good at it haha.

Stage rally is more sketchy, rocks and what not shot at me and no catch fence (trees are nature's catch fence).

StuperFox @stuperfox.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

I try. Luckily there is a crash wall between us.

Something like this. I can pet them.

Portland Raceway. I can do my best to see how it looks, it is a wild place with cars doing 110mph 2ft from me into a corner so that could be fun.

StuperFox @stuperfox.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Trying to figure out what to do this week at indycar for video. Some people showed interest of me running my gopro and am not sure what people would want. Are you wanting to see more stuff from on camera of what I see or something else. I am a bit stumped on what would look good.

I am hoping. Last year was goodish but Sunday was burtial. Where are you headed?

110

StuperFox @stuperfox.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

It is brutal. I am going to be dealing with it at indycar and this was a bit of a test bed for me. Between video and stills I am experimenting and trying things out.

I struggle with wanting my stuff to compare to my peers. I shoot motorsports professionally and I want my stuff to stand up to what others are doing (not comparing myself to others, more I aspire to put some of my favorite concepts/looks into my work to elevate it). I don't know them but will try.

010

StuperFox @stuperfox.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

It is a balance. On my display at home they look okay (maybe a hair too dark but high contrast so I have to compromise somewhere). My brain keeps telling me they are too saturated and the highlights/shadows are losing detail. My inner perfectionist wants perfection but it is very hard to achieve.
