This is the longest book I’ve ever written (and that’s not even counting the 50 000 words I lost last December). I’m incredibly proud of it and I hope you’ll have as much fun reading it as I did writing it.

That's it! The last chapter of the last book in the Mothers of Sorrow trilogy. On to editing now. I wonder what that chapter title can mean?

Quite an apt analogy for what this book has put me through, but I’m still having great fun writing it despite a few bumps along the way! (3/3)

...into the final novel of The Mothers of Sorrow trilogy!I still have five or six chapters to go, so the first draft should be finished in the next couple of months, which means that I can finally announce the title: The City of Grief and Pain. (2/3)

When I last posted waaaaay back in January, I was in a pretty bad place. I’d just lost over 50,000 words from my latest novel. After buckling down and writing day and night for the last few months, I’ve managed to rewrite the 50k words that I lost and am now 80,000 words(1/3)

I won’t go into details, but yes I had backups and yes they were corrupted too, so I couldn’t get anything back. It took me a few days to get over the initial shock, but now I’m back at it again, (2/3)

So ... I've been a bit less active on social media because I hit a bit of a snag. In late November I lost a good chunk of my current work-in-progress, the third and final part of the Mothers of Sorrow trilogy. I’m not sure on the exact word count, but it was over 40,000 words. (1/3)
