We are pleased to promote the call for papers for an upcoming issue of War and Remembrance (muzeum1939.pl/en/war-and-m...) on the theme of moral alienation and emotions during wars and conflicts. Submissions are welcome up to the due date of 31 January 2026.

The six-volume Cultural History of Violence is finally in press. Due for release in September 2025. A little behind schedule but we got there in the end. My thanks to all involved. I will post volume covers over the next day or two.

On 11/11 we hosted ‘Maintaining the Rage: Universities & the eradication of gendered violence’ with the COE for Equity in Higher Education at Newcastle City Hall. Elizabeth Roberts-Pederson, Penny Jane Burke, Jean Parker & Chris Krogh reflected on how universities can address gender based violence.
