The gang's all here, running around like a bunch of headless chickens. Those come later. #warhammer40k #miniatures #wip

When AI data centers stretch as far as the eye can see and the hunter killer drones search for human life, Any who needs it can join the resistance in the tunnels beneath the data centers.

I'll be brewing up some goofy homebrew offshoot successor group based heavily on jump pack usage. So lots of aerial action.

Well they're Blood Angels, So other SM character! Or any cool vehicle I can eye.

These are kinda my "spooky month" miniatures as well as my ongoing army. Just gotta get their heads in. I'm really hoping to get a big fun centerpiece mini for them by the end of the month for them too.

A squad of Marines, with something missing. Something very important.

Funny thing is, I'd settle for being able to get out of the house and supplement my hobby budget a tiny bit. But I can't even find a crap paying job I can handle enough to do that. Retail is fine, but I tend to get hired for long register shifts or back breaking stock shifts. Can't do those.

Studio Vee, Minis and Madness @studiovee.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

But so far we've had no luck. I'm in constant pain, and can't find an employer that would give a crap enough about my pain to give me any leeway.

Yep, got my disability claim denied. Their reason? "We can confirm you have fibromyalgia, but you're on medication, so you should be able to work." If y'all had talked to my doctors, you'd know my current suite of meds don't do much if anything, and we're STILL testing to find ones that could help

Is it sad that my goal this year is to be able to walk into a store and buy one expensive minis box without having to sell half my belongings or feel guilty about it?

Doing a little thing for myself tonight. A work in progress. Bonus points if you know the scheme! #gundam #wip #miniatures #miniaturepainting

I love the Acguy to pieces. Both the lot and the suit!

I don't buy much in the way of Pokemon anymore, but I do collect Trainers and Pokemon that I love.

Ive had the time to get multiple projects done in the last two weeks, and could really buckle down this next week and get work done. But chronic pain makes me so tired, and pushing through the pain and exhaustion has been SO hard. I'm trying. I want to do what I can this week.

Oh that is adorable. I might actually need this.

A general love of the character is the first reason. The leader effect also looks really fun and I can't wait to see how it plays and what the other Knights can do

I've got Bonney on standby, but Gunko is looking really cool and I plan on building her.

I've mostly just played it at local events for things like weeklies, Heroines battles, and fun stuff like that. I kind of fell off playing OP for a while but plan to go back to it now with OP18.

When I play the One Piece TCG, I play this Bonney deck. Is it top tier? Nah. Is it fun? Yes. Yes it is. And I need a fancy version of her leader card. #onepiecetcg

One week until my spouse comes home! I'm very excited.

Step 2 is now to acquire more Blood Angels. I've got the Combat Patrol, but I need more for a proper army. The Armageddon Marine half is perfect, but expensive ( I'm still salty I got ripped off trying to get one. Grumble grumble.) And I need a couple of named Characters! #warhammer40k

I think I may have found a couple of good sources, so the fun can begin!

I 100% agree and plan to do just that if I can.

It's that time again. I'm going to be playing some Vampiric pauldron jockeys but I don't want to have it be a spooky sausage party, so I need to find some female heads! Got any compatible suggestions? I know some Stormcast gal heads work, but aside from those. #warhammer40k

It's becoming increasingly obvious that I'll need an airbrush in the very near future. But a halfway decent one is soo expensive.

The really crappy thing right now is that while my spouse is away, we're trying to pay for TWO households worth of living for a few weeks, and their school doesn't seem to feel like paying them, so things are stupid rough.

*looks woman up* She's from TEXAS. And didn't even get surgery until she was 19. What the heck is she doing in ad alleging that Ohio is giving kids "trans surgeries?" (Or rather, how much is she getting paid?)

030

Studio Vee, Minis and Madness @studiovee.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Man, the Ohio political commercials are really doubling down on the anti-trans nonsense. "Sherrod Brown supports trans surgeries for kids!" Even bringing in what looks like a detransitioner to spread their woes in the ads. Ohio has never supported trans surgeries for kids. It's no trans wonderland

I'm not irresponsible with money. I assure you. I don't have vices like drugs, alcohol or tobacco. I'm really boring like that. It's just that I'm poor, and 99.9% of my income goes towards bills and kids. Haha.

I need to pick up more #MTG cards, bulk or otherwise. I LOVE Commander, but other than an enshrined deck or two, I don't have enough cards to build a lot of new decks.

This little girl spent the last seven days spending most of her time sleeping on my lap. I spend one afternoon/evening gone, and as soon as I get home she's right back on my lap purring like a motor.
