Last week, I finished my first #gamejam! Made a cafe sim game for the Nokia jam with @dealtadelta.bsky.social. Buuut we ran out of time, and the game isn't actually complete-able. Regardless, the other participants left very sweet, encouraging comments. 🥺 #screenshotsaturday #gamedev #itchio

The menu where you take customers' orders, their portrait on the left-hand side of the screen and their dialogue box showing what they want.

The main gameplay menu where you switch between different areas, currently on menu 4 which displays the table just in front of the door. The first two buttons are for the kitchen utilities, while the last 4 are for customer seating.

The grinding minigame, the first step in the brewing process where you live grind the beans to the desired coarseness, where coarse grinds make weaker coffee and finer grinds make stronger coffee.

WIP shot: A Halloween themed stage set in a dark, foggy forest. Green mushrooms frame the large center screen, itself decorating the front of a large mushroom, stretching almost as tall as the old, weathered house that sits beside. An arched walkway of alternating, diagonal bricks stretches from one side of the frame to the other, connecting the major landmarks that make up the image.

Just me messing around with the Kuwahara filter in Blender from a few months back. Here's a shot of the raw scene, just using wave textures to generate the burn marks on the hotdogs and the displacement modifier for the animation.
