There is still compassion for US Citizens duped into this fiasco. However….. now the world is watching, global judgements will be firmly made based on your choice for your next President. Please don’t let us down, you, we, the whole world deserves better. Start the Recovery, then we’re with you.

It’s rather weak from the extreme of the cumbersome right to ridicule & label in an attempt to silence with branding of ‘Woke’ & ‘Snowflake’ lol. Many of us sit centre cringing at the debacle & chipping in when decency is required. I’m very comfortable a ‘Non Nasty’, ‘Decency Centre’ 🤣

This is a poem. At the top of the page is a Justice Of Scales icon depicting the eyes and nose of a face, while the words ‘Here I am’ at the top and ‘Stuck in the middle with you’ is curved at the bottom to symbolise a smile. On the top left of the page in small font it reads: ‘Frowns To The Left’. On the top right of the page it reads: ‘Stokers To The Right’. This imagery is to demonstrate my subjective but balanced and fair opinion, the wording are lyrics from the 1972 hit ‘Stuck in the middle with you’ by Stealers Wheel. The actual lyric is ‘Clowns to the Left of me, jokers to the Right’.

At the foot of the page are two hooded individuals with faces hidden and in the centre of them is a suited central smart anonymous figure. It is intended to depict the political Left, Right and centre, depicting the Centre as the logical, sensible & professional type, where as the left and right individuals are depicted as the trouble making hoodlums. the imagary is dark and stylish and in no way comical.

The poem reads:

Be they Far left
be they Far right
leave them go to it
to ruinous fight

For Far is the virus
the rancour therein
extremes of the both
in Far they are Kin

A parallel they share
in vile synergy
Far more like each other
in no way like me.

The Special Relationship Trump has ended it, one that cannot be rectified simply by a change of Administration. It will need to be repaired over generations, for the rest of the world to be satisfied that the mindset of the US electorate has changed to render the recent behaviours ‘unthinkable’.

Honestly, as a grown man with the traditional British stiff upper lip, this debacle of where we are right now can produce a tear or two. But one thing that provides hope is knowing just how many American’s feel like Leo right now. Even many Rep’s who were hoodwinked. I feel for some of them too.

This is the Real World Cost of the current US Administration. The vast majority of US Citizens were not complicit due to the propagandised campaign that resulted in their victory and so many of us in Europe support you through this period of unseating them.
