Such is my cynical view of the state of the world, that I cannot automatically cheer for this without checking, because I know that leader of the AfD, Alice Weidel, is also openly gay, married to an immigrant, and still wants Christian nationalism and the removal of all immigrants. Strange times.

Feeling fairly fortunate to have the opportunities I do. On this occasion,I was pretty darn lucky to have been invited to share a friend's table at Oktoberfest (Hacker tent) in Munich yesterday. His family has had the table for the last 20 years, so he knows everyone really well. Fun times.

Ok... my statement was not exactly accurate the Left do not control 15 states, and the CDU in theory still holds the majority control in most German states, but they are in coalition with the Left in those states and not able to maintain control on their own in any state.

Running the Biscuit firmware on my Xteink X4 and really liking it. Pretty much does everything I would want it to do. If I wanted to do more then I would just get the M5 Stack S3 Paper. The main thing is that it keeps me offline, not looking at my phone, and reading books instead.

I am guessing there are many people who might not have seen a Vampyre apple. They are tasty for making Apple pie. Happy to have the tree in my back garden and that it is doing well enough now that I am getting a good number of Apples from it.
