its #sturgeonsaturday! did you know that some sturgeon make very long spawning migrations? Similar to salmon, some species of sturgeon migrate hundreds of miles from the sea to rivers to spawn after navigating a long journey once they are in freshwater they will release millions of eggs! 🧪👩🏻‍🔬🌎🌐
