"Winnie the Pooh", written by Don Ferguson was such a well-written comic strip.

After experimenting with the chibi version of a new character, I suddenly felt like trying out a larger, but this time slimmer, version of the character.

Remember when comedians weren't simps for the military industrial complex? That was a cool era.

Panel 1
Text box: 2006
A teenage Lester (with whole ears and a pimple covered face0 is talking to his friend who is holding out an mp3 player.
Friend: Yo man, check this out. It’s called a podcast. It’s like a radio show but on the internet.

Panel 2
Lester has the earbuds in his ears. He’s smiling widely and looking in awe at the mp3 player.
Lester: Whoa, this is sick! Think of the possibilities. With the powers of mass-broadcast in the hands of the average person, the world propaganda machine won’t stand a chance. The future is bright!

Panel 3
Text box: 2026
Adult Lester looks disturbed while he listens to a podcast through earbuds.
Podcast Voice 1: So that’s why our child-seeking missiles are a net good for humanity. We have to save the West, after all.
Podcast Voice 2: Wow man, I never thought about it that way but you make a good point.

Panel 4
Closeup of Lester’s phone screen which shows the podcast he’s listening to: The Austin TX. Comedy Cast. episode 1347. Guest - Peter Thiel
Podcast Voice 2: I want to talk more about the awesome stuff you’re doing over at Palantir but first, a word from our sponsors: Hey listener, does your penis work?

sometimes the ol' imagination just won't cooperate

Narration: Creating can be a wild & wonderful ride!
Admiral is water skiing on a rainbow being pulled by his imagination: a giant pile of frosting with a cone for a unicorn horn
-
Narration: Other times, not so much
Admiral is pulling Imagination's leg, trying to get it off the floor
Admiral: C'mon, Imagination! I wanna go create!
Imagination: I don't wanna!!

self-portrait

A smiling cartoon character holds up a drawing and says "I drew a self-portait!" Frowning characters look and say "That doesn't look like you" "who do you think you art?" "no one looks like that"
-
The character drops his drawing of himself smiling and walks off with a frown.
