I'm getting back into an old hobby. Im using a lot of thw same skill but doing it a lot differently this time. Everything will be strung on wire, with a heavy focus on keychains and phone charms. I will also do some bracelets, earrings, and necklaces.

These photos are different angles of my first handmade beaded keychain. They all have lots of different textures and different shades of the colors mentioned. This one is pink, and darker blue tinted green, and pearls. There are 5 types of flowers, one bead with a four leaf clover, a pearly bow, a shiny pink start and a frosted pink star. There's also a chain that has one of the flowers on the end. Its got a star clasp.

I've wondered this. But both my pets have seen me naked and haven't flipped out so id say so. They probably can tell its not attached to us. I'd like to think they take pitty on us for not being able to grow fur.

Large hand crocheted gold fish with a fluffy chenille style yarn, like a plush velvet. It's very orange. Background is a blue and black afghan blanket I made, I just laid it out to give the fish a sorta neutral background. The eyes are 30mm, so quite big.

So I've been working on this since the end of May. It's a huge bean bag style chair spider. The head comfortably sits my big butt, and the arms are stuffed with pool noodles. It's a commissioned project. The theme started as "mtn dew Baja blast color theme" #crochet #amigurumi 🧶 #spider #tarantula

The spider has a navy blue head, with a cyan blue ring, light green eyes, two mandibles in white, cyan and light green, two pedipalps in the same three colors, and 8 legs in all 4 colors. All colors are used in the butt, with a drip pattern separating each color. The head is big enough to seat my big butt.

I put up some peg boards, on the long one is most of my fancier yarns, hand dyed cottons and linen, and some silk. On the short one is some cakes of blanket yarn. The little cups have crochet odds and ends, along with other crafting supplies, and blank cassettes for my boombox/cassette recorder.

A square motif crochet blanket, where the squares are double stranded in the moss stitch, in colors of black, purple or black and purple mixed. They are arranged in a downward diagonal pattern, with the purple and black spaced out with the mixed squares. Each square is boarded in white accent color, then boarded and connected with the gold accent color. This blanket was requested by my coworker.

Soft, fluffy yarn organized on two shelving units, in a corner of my craft room top to bottom left to right. bright pink, to soft pink, to salmon. Then browns, from dark chocolate down to light marshmallow. Next is red, to warm Auburn, to dark orange. Next is neon oranges, sunflower, gold, down to yellows. The next shelf starts with neon yellow, neon green, pale green, yellow greens, then into dark greens. Next shelf is dark teals, jade, blueish mint, and baby greenish mint. Next shelf is a bright turquoise, a seaside blue, going into more true blues, and then darker. The next shelf starts with a Prussia blue, a little more blue than periwinkle, and dark blue that is between navy and indigo. Then dark violet, lavender, lilac, orchid, then and neon purple named photon purple, it's almost pink it's so bright. The next shelf is white to black with many shades of grey in between. Who knew grey comes in so many forms? Next shelf is a rainbow of yarns called pompom yarns which have fun confetti of other colors sprinkled in. They look so festive together. From the top, my jumbo plushie of a red panda has an arm draping down.

First time in my local yarn store I got asked to teach crochet. I said yes but got cold feet. I was also very sick the day she wanted me in to discuss my first lesson. I feel bad, but I kinda don't want to return.
