Yomu is demi so they failed to pick up on G'raha pining and Haurchefant flirting. It was only when friendship level 10 was reached with both of them that they started having reciprocal feelings (post arr for haurche, shadowbringers for G'raha)

Kinda? Considering Yomu had no backstory when I started plaything other than pretty lizard blackmage lol Stormblood finally got the ideas going and I have learned to be ok with retconning lore as i go!

I'm torn about if I should make a little thread for the drawing bootcamp im trying - on one hand, social media = bad for brain. Plus it might not be too interesting (lots of boxes) On the other, I like the idea of seeing people learn to draw now more than ever b/c *gestures at everything* 🫠

My little shop is back open! Lots of new things. Some older things are heavily discounted, some others are low in stock. FYI: I won't be restocking anything before the end of the year, so get your holiday shopping done early!~ 🦄 caseyshafferart.etsy.com 🦄 #art #merch #artistsupport

'Yomu' came from the JP pronunciation of Yhorm the giant from Darksouls 3 (I thought it sounded cool) minus a few vowels 'Kazul' is a character from Dealing with Dragons, a booked I loved as a kid

As silly as the face 3 horns are some times, they're such a part of Yomu I dont think I could swap them at this point What I really really want though is scars made available for all races

Still waffling on what Yomu gets to wear to Evercold. Do they go full magical girl as a treat, or nod to reaper and do something edgier (even though it's not weather appropriate)?

You know, sometimes I wonder if the "Tataru is actually evil" meme stems from the fact that society is still afraid of women getting agency for themselves

I had the pleasure of illustrating @postmortemtsarina.bsky.social's fic "Heretic Love Songs"! This was done for the xiv NPC minibang @xivnpcbang.bsky.social You can read the fic here: archiveofourown.org/collections/...

A portrait of Lucia and Ysayle from Final Fantasy XIV. Ysayle is holding a knife against Lucia's jaw, as Lucia gazes at Ysayle with a longing expression. Both of them have slight dirt/scratches on their faces, suggesting wear and tear and injury.

For Yomu it’s a bit of a relief and can also sting depending on phrasing - on the one hand it’s nice that the first impression isn’t “scary lizard.’ On the other, oof that imposter syndrome be hitting “thought youd be taller” is extremely funny because they’re 7’2”

I have been toying with the idea of having the SAM quests start for Yomu post Ifrit - until coming to Eorzea the only swordmanship study they had was from their ronin father. While recovering from the Ifrit fight is when they meet Musosai and start more formal training.
