Rebecca heard James and Super Ed before she saw them. As she rushed to the source of the commotion, she saw the new Electro-Diesel slam into James, and send him hurtling down the siding. It looked like he was backing for another go.
She rushed in, all lamps shining and whistle blowing as loud as she could manage. She intercepted Super Ed and stood between him and James.
The two big engines stared each other down. Rebecca tried to get Super Ed to back off, only for him to bristle and challenge her. In the end, he slunk away, seething.
Even if she hadn't solved everything, she had at least helped the one that needed it the most.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:5jvtoggbymkbodoe4dljn6lq/bafkreiar6recjk4p6velepmx2vm3eh7jdp64jobkpuwxglfphpef4cjksq)
