small comic panel inside the canopy of a of a large bed with a male teenaged figure curled in bed with eyes closed in a distressed state and wings emerging from the side of his head. A maternal figure sits at the edge of the bed behind him and with a weary expression, letting out a sigh and perhaps rolling her eyes.

This reminds me that I tried to describe my version of incubi demons (which are more demon + human hybrids). I developed an ugly history for their creation, but also some neat lore that I am rediscovering now! Like the reversed chakra system. #art #ocsky #demons

Image of two males, an incubus and a human stand-in, with their chakra areas highlighted as rainbow blobs. The incubus chakras from the top to bottom are labelled: Horn, Thorn, Breath, Bridge, Crest, and Void. The human chakras from top to bottom are labelled Crown, Brow, Throat, Heart, Solar Plexis, Sacral, and Root.

The information reads:

THE ANATOMY OF A GAIAN INCUBUS
Incubi (& succubae) are demon0human hybrids that were created as a slave class by breeding human slaves with demons to tame them. The intent was to create powerful beings that were dependent on humans for survival in order to keep them under control. However, over time, the slave species became their own viable species & broke free from their captors. Now various clans & legacy lines exist & feed on & breed with humans to continue their existence.

Incubi have a reversed chakra/spiritual energy system compared to humans. However, due to their demon heritage, their "crown" chakra is actually more of a corrupt void that eats away at their soul over time.

Image of OC Altaire, an incubus, naked and keeling over in pain with his chakra systems starting to blend together from the bottom (Void) like a watercolour wet on wet effect. A second image of him has him covered in more blood and bloody mist as he curls in a fetal position in pain.

The text reads:
This "hunger" infects upwards through subsequent chakras, dirving the THORN chakra (normal the SACRAL chakra, which governs the productive system & basic emotional needs) to react. Wings emerge from the incubus' head & a craving for sex is initiated. The wings are very sensitive to the environment & helps detect soul energy in the are.

As the corruption spreads further and the CREST & BRIDGE chakras shut down (normally the BROW & THROAT which govern thought & communication), the incubus starts losing control of his body. His pores start sweating blood & he writches in pain as the THORN chakra oes into panic mode. Hunger for sex becomes extreme.

WHY SEX? The VOID chakra corrupts because as a demonic vestige, it eats away at the "human" soul of the incubus. In order to repair the damage & "feed: the void, the incubus needs a soul source. The easiest way to do so is to latch onto a human's most VITAL chakra point & pull the soul energy from there. The ROOT chakra in humans is where the KUNDALINI (dormant spiritual energy ready for plucking) rests.

There is an image of OC Altaire crouched with hands on the ground and covered in blood and cracked skin all over his naked body. There are captions with arrows pointing out: "Hair eventually falls out!", "Skin cracks, heals, cracks & bleeds continuously. It ends up looking hard & scaly.", "NEEDS SEX + BLOOD at this point (transfusion or vampirism)"

A second image shows a demon husk, a grey and ashy humanoid figure covered in sharp armour-like scales and horns. The captions with arrows point out: "Incubus husk after fully turning demonis. Look almost like a dragon!", "DON'T WORRY GUYS, THIS HUSK AIN'T ALT'S!"

The information reads: An incubus unable to get soul energy in time leads to having all but his HORN chakra to be taken over. All he has left is basic instinct. The blood on him dries into a hardened layer & cracks his skin as he moves, driving him more insane with pain. He is almost fully a demon at this point as there is almost no human soul left to suppress the demon traits.

HOWEVER, his body will not be able to handle such a transition as transforming into a full demon uses up all his body's energy.

After a short period of going on a rampage of a few hours, the demon burns itself out unless it can get a soul through sex. He then dies, only leaving a shell that can be easily possessed by a strong demonic spirit of another species.

btw i didn't find the exact pic i was looking for but i think this was an even older one and possibly FIRST official Altaire? Before I changed his hair colours lol #art

November 19, 2005.

Pencil drawings of OCs of Altaire and Hiryuu. One of the firsts of Altaire? Maybe? There was a whole complicated story about Alt being the ripped out "good soul" part of Hiryuu that gets raised as Hiryuu's younger brother, but then I retconned/redid that later so that Altaire is more of just a distant cousin from his mother's side now lol.

There is a joke caption written by my husband above the pic of child Altaire holding a dagger with an angry fist up lol: WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN'T WATCH DORA THE EXPLORER?

020

Prax @strawberryink.ca · 16/08/2026

Prax @strawberryink.ca · 16/08/2026

was watching mindless TV, caught an ep of Beyblade X and was like wtf.. Jaxon reminded me so much of my OC Altaire I am dying lol.. but it did make me look up some super old stuff of Altaire as he evolved through the decades. he has 2 major running parallels designs though due to.. AUs lol

2006 digital illustration of OC Altaire, teenaged boy with silver hair and a blue streak on the right side of his head. He has bat wings on his head, small blue feathered wings on his black, and is dressed in mostly blacks with a white scarf with water droplet symbol. He is kneeling on one knee and holds a dagger in his right hand with a serious expression.

There is a simple black rose window design in the background.

2011 digital illustration of OC Altaire with his alternate villain alias design, Silver Zodiac.

He is a teenaged boy with silver hair and a blue streak on the right side of his head dressed in casual clothes but is meant to look semi-stylish.

His alias has a silver motorcycle style helmet with stylized bat wings protruding, a grey jacket and white scarf with water droplet symbol, and silver metal gauntlets and boots.

2011 digital illustration of two OCs, Altaire and Hiryuu aged as young adults arranged in a reversible card composition.

Altaire is silver-haired with a blue streak on the right side of his head and is dressed in mostly greys with a white scarf and a bright orange shirt under his jacket and black and white shoes. In the background head portrait, he has blue and silver lined dragon-bat wings on the sides of his head.

Hiryuu is black-haired with slightly golden highlights in his bangs and red highlights for the rest of his hair. He is dressed mostly in blacks with a shoulder shawl type of design on high long coat and wears boots with silver toe caps. In high background head portrait, he has blue and black dragon-bat wings on the sides of his head.

2019 digital illustration of OC Altaire in civilian and villain alias, Silver Zodiac.

He is posed smiling and dressed casually with a brown structured cap, fitted t-shirt and fitted olive pants, black plaid runners, and a black arm warmers.

His villain alias has a grey jacket, white scarf, black gloves, and silver motorcycle style helmet with batwing protrusions. He has small black and blue feathered wings coming out his back and seems to be creating a wispy energy ball. Detailed face portraits of what his face looks like under her helmet are shown off to the right of the image.

Updated with even MORE fur! lol

Digital Blacks sketch of four nude figures crowded on a sauna bench. A woman with wavy hair tied up is in a relaxed state and contentedly has her arm around an uncomfortable dark-haired man's shoulders. Another woman with short blue hair sits beside him and happily chats with a heavily sweating and very uncomfortable tall hairy rabbit-man while holding his hand.

Cynthia: Ooooh this is sooooo nice! A fine reward for saving countless lives in countless worlds and countless timelines, right Morgan~?
Morgan: Maybe if it didn't have to be shared among so many.. all at the exact same time?
Lucina: But that's what makes it all the merrier! To share victories and experiences together like this as comrades--no, friends!--and.. more.
Yarne: To be honest Lucina, I'm not sure I am strong enough to survive sharing more experiences like this in the future!
