These events are a great starting point and a glimpse of the talent in the industry. No matter how high we get, we can't forget that sometimes the starting point is not a room with investors, but a laptop with a random person playing it and telling us how we can make it better.

That feeling came to us when we were at the last edition of the Game Dev Meet Porto. Before Strawberry Fox Studios started, some of us would go to these events and show what we did. In their eyes, everything was bad, but when someone played it, they would receive a sign to keep going.
