God that's awful. An awful injury to have at the best of times, but at such a young age too.

Such scratchable looking ears!

Welp, I guess you can get more embarrassing. Always hurts to see an own goal #Roar #FootballQueensland. I feel for the all stars defender

011

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Ugh, awful way to concede slipping like that But yay Daisy for the finish! #Roar #FootballQueensland

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Oh very nice, unexpected #Roar match on YouTube on football Queensland channel. Good chance to see the new ladies in action before the season starts! Though being numberless on the jerseys is killing me

I eyerolled the moment they mentioned Skywalker again. Honest to goodness, let it go. Give me more of Rey, I loved her, but the Skywalker part has to go

It's never a bad time for good Mac and cheese

011

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Yeah, this is grotty as. I mean, I get there's a need to not piss off the orange stain, but such a selfie could've been easily avoided

000

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I would never agree with her on anything. But the idea that calling *a* serviceman a traitor tars them all is too big a leap. One way or another with BRS, there's going to betrayal according to law. Either BRS for his actions or those who testified against him. And it should be fine to say it

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Momo and Medwin going to Melbourne City was a heartbreaker. Not a fan of this drip feeding by the Roar

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Series X for performance Series S for standard Series P for portable Series C for Cloud Streaming Seems a good lineup Now for a reasonably priced Game Pass Ultimate Family Plan

000

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Absolutely. It was just so seamless to play with my wife or daughter. Wife can't see for peanuts, so the extra fidelity of the series X is lost on her. Just more accessible and easier to group up

120

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Good. That was the best part of this gen, being able to get a jain series X and a cheap series s for coop

130

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Looks fab, but your hair is always 🔥

010

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

You would think so yeah. Definitely need Grace firing on all cylinders. They can't replace, what, a coach and 7-8 players with only a couple of signings?

110

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Yeah, I was gutted when I heard she moved to city. Going to be a very hard build up for the Roar with so many losses

110

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Absolutely. They don't need any more if that!

111

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

I was so disappointed when this pivoted away from coop. Hopefully they get the numbers they need to sustain themselves

010

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

That might be true. But I got the email as well, and it's Version 12 from April this year. So yes, sending it *right now* is a choice

000

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Finally some good news after the recent departures

110

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Me neither. We absolutely loved the experience when it was at Perry Park, sitting on the hill behind cheering the team on. Food not so much! It was great to see the women in their best form. And we could just rocket up the train line to get there in one easy step

000

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Yup. My daughter and I have been season members for years for the Roar, and it's shot up hugely. Between the less convenient venue and cost, we aren't this year. Half the squad disappearing doesn't help either

110

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

The way the women collectively get paid and can't get long term contracts including off season is criminal

100

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Half 2,electric boogaloo! The all stars really just need more possession. They're looking good, but you can tell they're not as gelled as Chelsea. Cmon all stars! #ALWvCHE

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

After a very rocky transmission start, now the A League Women All Stars vs Chelsea is on and running. Very interesting start, love the quality of players on display here #ALWvCHE

All the gambling giants could go out of business overnight and I'd shed not a tear for them

You're beautiful Emi and don't let your brain say otherwise

000

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

I don't think stable. I think ineffectual, out of touch, stagnant and even regressive

000

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

Obviously celebrities have a face and all that. But regardless, he genuinely seemed like a really nice person, not just one who put it on for show

010

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

Didn't look intentional, but boy howdy they got advantage from it

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

Truly a government with bold reforms and for the betterment of people 🙄

000

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Honestly, I think Australia has a scoring problem. We look threatening at times, but we just don't manage to find the net. We need to win games outright, not look to skate by with draws or penalties.

020

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Yeah, smacks of "If we're cruel enough, maybe people will take pity on the children". Which is just straight up awful

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

The LNP are never capable of taking responsibility

Pfft, ice cream is _always_ special and necessary. You can't count that!

000

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

I mean, you've done lots of hard work and need a treat for it? Seems perfectly reasonable to me

110

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

Having a good pair of linies would make a huge difference, because you just can't be everywhere. They're only human - and to me, that makes it better than cold, sterile technology

010

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

That's the view I've always taken as well. Coaches can make tweaks or timely substitutions to change the energy, but fundamentally the coaching is done prior to match day and they have to trust in their players. Anything else is a different game.

130

Daniel Stratton @strattonds.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

Which is a surprise, as Harry has grated on my nerves for years (no idea why). But I heard it and agreed, found it insightful

Need another K to make it a proper KKK podcast

I loved your audiobook version, and rated 5 stars
