iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

A few days ago I mused about getting new Stargazer content with the Seed MSV. I got so hyped for a second when I first saw this post. Ahh~!

What in the Dynames is this...? Can't wait to see it built!

More than just a Barb, by the looks of it. I think that's a Gyan's backpack in the middle of all that. Also, im really curious what that little red GQX Gelgoog is. I dont think I've ever seen something at that particular scale before.

These look like scaled-up versions of Mobile Suit Ensemble figures, or maybe cheaper versions of the NX EdgeStyle robots.

Hell yeah! Ive got a whole squad of 'em!

I purchased a Molotow liquid chrome pen for EXACTLY that reason ... and it turns out that's pretty much the only thing I can use it for. As gorgeous as the chrome paint looks, the reflectiveness totally rubs off the second you touch it, even weeks later. It's like the paint never completely dries.

...but seriously, I love the eyes on these MGSD kits. I can't wait to see how they do Kshatrya's monoeye lens.

Alas, poor Freedom! I knew him, Ted: a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy: he hath borne me on his back(pack) a thousand times

All 24 movies, all on Blu-Ray... and none of them have the original JP audio. How hard is it, TPCI??

000

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

So... a Dom and a Gyan had a baby?

010

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Yeah, isn't that the sound of a Zaku's monoeye lighting up?

030

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

What if you just left the wings off the backpack? Is that doable? I'll be starting one of these soon, so I sure hope it is. I've always hated SEED's "I have an airplane sticking out of my back!" philosophy on backpacks.

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

So, like... What are the odds that this features anything pertaining to Stargazer? 10%? 5, even?

110

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Thought so. That's what happened the last time I ordered something from them, too. I got two different tracking numbers (one from them and one from Amazon), and it got delayed for over a week with no info. Every order I made with them had some kind of complication, so I stopped buying from them.

110

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I mean... will they, though? She's been a senator since 1997, and they've had plenty of reasons and opportunities so far, yet they haven't. How is this any different?

000

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Amazon, you say? Did that certain Gunpla store happen to be located in Florida, and declare themselves to be the largest distributor in the US, but also say that they're just a tiny, family-run business whenever someone complains that they take too long shipping out orders?

"Izubuchi Gundam"? Like a "What If Yutaka Izubuchi Had Designed The RX-78" kitbash?

That would be when you made the comparison to Wind Waker haters, who argued that the game was bad BECAUSE of the art style... which i never did. Learn. To. Fucking. Read.

Tell yourself whatever you need to hear in order to feel like you proved something, buckaroo.

100

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

You have no legitimate rebuttal to what I said about it being the uglist game, so you just keep attacking straw men. Pathetic.

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Completed it on both GameCube and Wii, "dude". Just because someone thinks it's hideous and doesn't like its aesthetic has no bearing on whether or not they played it. Sorry, you dont get to handwave opinions you don't like so easily.

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I never said it was a bad game, Jackass. I said it was the ugliest game. Learn to read.

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Were they going for "Let's do a Zelda that's DARKIER and GRITTIER, by desaturating everything and making all the inhabitants of Hyrule look like malformed horrors and/or meth addicts"? Because if so, then yeah; they succeeded. I dunno WHY they'd want to make Grimdark Zelda, but they nailed it.

True. But at least she doesn't look like a fairy that's strung out on heroin.

000

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Convince me that there's another Zelda game has a more muted palette, bleak setting, and uglier character designs.

000

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Another fine example of how TP is the ugliest game in the franchise. Ugh.

Nyuren is such a cool little kit. All the KS kits are good, but that one builds very different than the others. (Also, it's my personal, strongly-held belief that its feet look better when they're rotated 180°.)

010

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

And of course, the obligatory "Never talk to me or my kids ever again" pics, lol

Sƚɾαƚαɠo @stratago.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

HG Draken E. As a Sniper II fan I had to get one of these, and lucked out. I somehow won this on EBay with a single $15 bid. A very different build than the average kit, with some pretty cool features. It was fun to zhuzh it up with some extra color, especially in its impressively-detailed cockpit.

It's kinda crazy how if you cover up the bottom half of that pic, it's just Mark Ruffalo's Hulk.

AI Slop like this is not helpful for anyone. Be better.

Exactly this. Classic Star Wars was inspired by WWII, Westerns, hot rods, Buddhist philosophy, Kurosawa movies, The Hero's Journey, etc etc. Modern Star Wars was inspired by Star Wars.
