I don't nearly do as many posts that folks can interact with as I should, so since I saw Neba doing this, I figured I'd hop on this too.

Okay, last public pictures of Gizmo before he goes back to being privately shared on discord and with friends until he's fully grown. Gizmo has this funny quirk where he won't leave the floor mat in my bathroom alone unless my shirts are on it. Don't know why he likes trying to eat it. Love him

Gizmo, my black puppy who is almost four months old, looking up at thw phone from a pile of shirts on the bathroom floor completely covering the tiny mat on the floor because he keeps trying to rip the fluff out of it

Gizmo curled up in a ball and sleeping on one of the many shirts used to cover my bathroom floor mat so he doesn't try to eat the mat.

A rare photo of Gizmo asleep on the partially covered floor mat in the bathroom. The shirts from the previous pictures are missing and there's just a singular black shirt spread out over half of the white mat. Gizmo has a green rubber chew toy in the shape of one of the doggy dental treats shaped like a toothbrush next to his face.

Had to put this in the server and take a screenshot because of text limitations, but this is a general update on things with the basement and the state of my streams as they currently stand. Really hope that this means I'll be able to have my PC able to be unpacked and used again soon.

A post I made in my discord server. The text reads as follows:

Not making any promises, but our contractor is supposed to come over today to do some work on the basement (mostly putting the floor back in), and if this means that he and the team are finally able to go through and do the repairs from the burst pipe and the flooding, I might actually be able to stream again before the end of July.

Right now the entire floor needs to be put back in, the pipe needs to be replaced so we can have the spigot for the backyard back, parts of the ceiling, walls and insulation need to be replaced, the trim for the walls needs to be put back in, new framing and sealing need to be put for the windows, and everything needs to be repainted, and that's not even counting anything else they might discover from the damage because we haven't been able to check for mold or damaged wood from all the water from the various floods.

But, fingers crossed that this means they're going to be starting the full repairs soon and not that this is just going to be putting the floor back in or just an inspection to gage the damages, because I desperately want to get to stream and use my PC again instead of ONLY being able to be on the laptop.

Can you guess which kit I finally decided to start working on so it stops intimidating me forever in my backlog? Sorry to the folks that wanted to see this built on streams, this does mean I will only have my 3 boxed MGs to work on when I can finally stream properly again.

What I've been busy with when not working on Gundams ever since I've had to take a longer hiatus than I wanted from streams:

Click for the actual post bc character limit, but this is just a little bit of my random thoughts about my personal life as the person BEHIND the character of Goggle Strap. I need to start remembering to also label when I'm posting as me, and when I'm posting as Strap.

Apologies for using Alt Text for this, but I wanted this as a single post and not broken up into two, and bsky character limit doesn't let me say all this at once.

Quick bit of admin stuff rather than just being in character:

The funniest thing for me about being a theatre nerd and being part Italian is that I literally cannot tell if the fact that I wildly gesture with my hands when talking is because of being on stage, or because that's what somehow my genes inherited. But I will 100% talk with my hands, and it will happen a ton the more excited or incensed I am when talking.

As badly as I want to give y'all the normal first look at the game, because I still don't have the ability to stream yet, I won't be able to show this off, even in the discord. But I'm so happy Starforce Legacy Collection is finally here, I loved these games. Also bonus Zero/ZX Legacy Collection!

I always love doing this. Here's Goggle Strap, a playfully flirty reporter who keeps being dropped into different dimensions. This still probably remains the best drawing of him that I've ever made.

The reporter known as Goggle Strap. They are wearing a black newsboy cap with yellow biker goggles around the rim, a tattered black scarf that now resembles a bandana with a yellow Umbreon ring, a ripped black jacket over a red shirt and black studded belt wrapped through black, ripped pants. Strap is giving the viewer a teasing look while imposed over a single yellow diagonal line against a black background.

5 hours 50 minutes. Got the upper body snapped together before realizing i wanted to see if the MGSD head fits on the HG Burning Gundam head (never found out), and built the feet before having to stop bc the day needs to get started.

Finished the head unit, this is all I will get done today due to the migraine I have. I don't want to risk using the sharp tools while wincing.

Very excited to build this. Due to migraine I won't be touching this today. Also: Stickers, my beloathed. These are going to be such a pain to work with from how small they are x_x The positive take though is that at least the eyes are ACTUAL PLASTIC PARTS that I can snap into place, thank gods.

on the HG Burning Gundam kit I got from the Gundam Base. Anyway, I've dawdled long enough, here's what I got done last night. I stopped because I was getting too tired and didn't want to make a mistake with any cuts. (I'll try my best to remember to do alt text for each addition) 7/
