Objections to the dairy industry aside I'd argue its mainly a poor accuracy tb testing and a lower than ideal efficiency tb vaccine problem. There have been attempts to fix this by various defra scientists over years but the unhelpful indifference from government(s) and industry has stymied them.

Hasn't the journalist/tax expert who broke this now said it was the fault of the marina owners and Walthamstow Council for 'lack of enforcement' not Polkanski avoid it? (Doesn't that journalist/tax expert also have links to the Labour Party?) Seems a non-story now especially in light of everything!

Not to mention they could make it harder for Farage by next week even if they removed all the right-wingers given senior jobs by Johnson at the BBC, beefed up Ofcom and Ipso and put an end to foreign donations to political parties - with their massive parliamentary majority that they have...

This Labour Gov have a huge majority and could have improved things for themselves/us by giving stronger powers to Ofcom and Ipso, cherry picking the most effective recommendations from Leavenson 2 to regulate the press and then restored the BBC to proper impartiality. I don't know why they haven't

But restoring stronger powers to both Ofcom and Ipso and actioning Leveson 2 were mooted by previous Govs and doing it would have helped Labour massively. Plus historically most incoming Govs made changes to the BBC asap (Cameron especially) so them not doing so has seemed politically foolish to me.

If only the Labour Government (with it's massive majority) had a way of regulating the press, media and bringing the national broadcaster back to it's proper impartial coverage.(Levinson 2, removing the right wing political appointments at the bbc, beefing up ofcom and ipso etc) So why haven't they?

Its so frustratingly short sighted and backwards looking. The only way forward in a planet of finite resources on the shores of a climate apocalypse is to look at value and innovation based economics - the natural worlds worth needs to be protected! (Reading Mariana Mazzucato is a good start).

I think a careful policy of not amplifying those outside of political or journalistic responsibility needs to be implemented across all media with characters like Musk. X is a service he brought it's not a publisher or accredited news source grant it and him the importance you'd give a 'fan' forum.
